Age of Attraction‘s Leah Woolfolk called out the show for its decision to cut some of her important scenes as the show’s only Black woman.
Leah, 41, took to TikTok on Tuesday, March 24, to ask why every other main contestant on the show had their family scenes included except for her.
“I found out that my family scene was cut because we were ‘short on time.’ But as you guys probably have seen, everyone in the cast had their family scenes shown,” she said about how nine out of 10 stars got to film with their loved ones. “Some had friends, family, more than one family member, and some of them even got a second appearance with their family.”
Leah was upset to see her content on the chopping block.

“When my family couldn’t even get one minute, it’s sad. It doesn’t feel right,” she continued. “I just feel like I’m a filler. I was hurt.”
Netflix’s new dating show, which premiered in March, follows couples with significant age gaps trying to navigate new romances. Divided into three parts, the first batch of episodes showed the initial connections that were formed before individual couples made promises to each other.
After a visit to the Promise Room, each couple could discuss their age gap and decide whether they wanted to keep exploring their chemistry. Age of Attraction then zeroed in on six couples who moved into the same apartment building after making a commitment. They had to weather new challenges as their new normal set in, with family members visiting each couple to give their opinions on the match.
They then made a decision about whether they wanted to pursue a future together or if their age differences created too much of an issue with — spoiler alert! — Leah and Chris Dahlan not making it as a couple.

“Yes, I’m clingy [on the show] and I can be overbearing. What does that have to do with my sister-in-law coming and us having a good time?” Leah continued in her TikTok video. “I didn’t need a lot. I don’t mind my story line. It is fine. Do whatever you have to do to me, I don’t care. But to cut the one person who showed up for me, it hit different.”
Leah went on to “like” comments about how she was treated differently as the only Black woman featured prominently on the show since only a handful of couples were followed past the age-gap reveal. She also acknowledged frustration with how hosts Nick Viall and Natalie Joy would allegedly “treat her” after viewers were left annoyed with a fight between Leah and contestant Theresa.

I couldn’t help but notice how you were treated differently & by the host,” read a comment from a social media user, which Leah showed support for. “It genuinely upset me, & all you were trying to say was everyone should be HONEST…🥺 so sorry you experienced that.”
