Bunnie Xo gave a candid update about her ongoing facelift recovery.
“When it’s day 6 of your recovery, you have cabin fever, you watched every 2000’s movie, can barely walk [without] being winded, live in a recliner, feel like you’re being choked from ear to ear,” the influencer, 46, wrote alongside a Sunday, March 22, Instagram video.”Everyone keeps telling you day 7 is the best day but that’s tomorrow and you have lost all faith in humanity.”
In the clip, Bunnie Xo (real name Alisa DeFord) lipsynced and danced to Phil Collins and Philip Bailey’s song “Easy Lover.” She was joined by two friends who appeared to be assisting in her recovery process.
Bunnie Xo added in the caption, “I kno [sic], I did this to myself but damn.”
Jelly Roll’s Wife Bunnie Xo Reveals Gruesome Aftermath of Her Facelift
Last month, Bunnie Xo teased that she planned on getting a facelift sooner rather than later.
“Just gonna tack it back. Just a little bit,” she said in a February episode of her “Dumb Blonde” podcast, adding that she was “scared” about the procedure but wanted to get “it done now” so she wouldn’t have to go under the knife when she’s 65.
The following month, Bunnie Xo confirmed she was preparing for the operation.
“Send lots of prayers for your girl,” she said in a March 13 episode of her post-surgery expectations. “I’m gonna look crazy, guys. I’m gonna be bruised. It’s gonna be a little weird. Don’t freak out.”
Three days later, Bunnie Xo gave an update on how the surgery went, even giving curious — especially those with an iron stomach — fans an unfiltered look at her refreshed face.
“I look like Bert Kreischer,” she captioned an Instagram video on Monday, March 16, referring to the stand-up comedian while showing off her visibly swollen face.
Bunnie Xo Asks Fans for ‘Prayers’ Before Upcoming Facelift
The following day, Bunnie Xo opened up about why she decided to get the procedure.
“For everyone asking why I decided to do a facelift, old filler was one of the main reasons,” she wrote via Instagram. “I had stopped getting filler over 3 years ago in my face (I did have some in my lips tho), had it dissolved multiple times in my cheeks & it still was in my face.”
Bunnie Xo continued, “It would be itchy, it would cause swelling in my cheeks & it continued to migrate to other places. Please take it from me, filler doesn’t dissolve in your body like we are told.”
