A Texas man has been arrested after he was accused of stealing a corpse from a mausoleum and throwing it onto FBI property.

The Bartonville Police Department announced that Michael Chadwick Fry has been charged with abuse of a corpse, which is a state jail felony, according to WFAA.

Police connected Fry, 41, to the situation when his mother called authorities on the afternoon of March 16 and told them her son asked for money to pay for a U-Haul, according to an arrest affidavit viewed by the outlet.

She said she asked Fry why he needed a U-Haul, and he reportedly said he “had a body that needed to be moved.”

Fry reportedly left the home after becoming frustrated, which led his mother to call 911.

Police then put out a bulletin for Fry and his sister reached out to police soon after to share details regarding the case.

It was discovered that Fry reportedly filmed himself at the FBI field office in Dallas and uploaded a video titled “We send Elizabeth over the FBI fence to summon them by force” to YouTube.

The video reportedly showed Fry explaining he wanted to get the FBI’s attention by throwing “Elizabeth’s remains” over the fence, per the affidavit. After saying that he wanted to “summon” the FBI “by force,” he said he wanted the FBI to intervene in what he believed was wrongdoing by Denton County officials following a past arrest.

In 2018, Fry drove his car into the KDFW studios in Dallas. He fled the scene, leaving behind a bright orange duffel bag that resulted in a call to the bomb squad. He drove into the news station because he was reportedly upset that police had shot his friend.

Fry then reportedly threw a large white bucket over the fence and into the FBI building’s parking lot, according to the affidavit. An FBI special agent called police and told them the bucket contained several bones, which appeared to belong to a human.

Fry uploaded two other videos to his YouTube channel, which showed him with a human skull in his home in Bartonville. The affidavit stated that the skull appeared to have dirt and hair still connected to it.

He reportedly called the skull “Elizabeth Virginia Lyon” in the videos, per the affidavit.

It is not currently known who the remains belong to, but police believe the bones in the bucket and the skull in Fry’s house are from the same person.

Fry was arrested and is currently booked in the Denton County Jail, according to online records viewed by Us Weekly. He is being held on a $30,000 bond.

It is not currently clear if Fry has entered a plea or retained legal representation following his arrest. The Bartonville Police Department did not immediately respond to Us’ request for comment regarding the case.
