Skowhegan’s town manager, Nicholas Nadeau, has passed away.
The town’s Select Board announced his death Sunday. His cause of death wasn’t disclosed.
“We extend our condolences to Mr. Nadeau’s family, friends, colleagues and all those affected by his passing,” the Select Board said in a statement.
The Select Board is taking the helm in supporting town staff and their work for the time being.
Nadeau has been the Skowhegan town manager for the past year. He had previously served as town administrator in Blue Hill.
