According to the Heritage Foundation’s database, there has not been enough illegal voting in the last 43 years to affect the outcome of a single election during that time period, even if you combined all of that illegal voting into a single election. Let that sink in. Illegal voting is a non- issue in this country.
Sen. Susan Collins supports the “SAVE America” Act. There is nothing to save in our elections.
This is a law that will disenfranchise millions of American voters from participating in their duty as a citizen because they changed their name when they got married or because they don’t have a passport. Many of the people that will be disenfranchised if this law is passed tend to vote for Democrats.
I believe this is a voter suppression law, plain and simple. We all need to call our senators and fight for our democracy while we still have one. You don’t even have to get off the couch.
