Tubi is bar none the best ad-supported platform to watch free movies, boasting a hugely expansive and diverse library that blows Netflix and HBO Max out of the water.

This March 2026, Watch With Us has added three new additions to our list of the best movies to stream on the platform.

Our picks include 20th Century Women, a spirited coming-of-age drama set on the cusp of the ’80s.

We also highlight the disastrous Sony Marvel movie Morbius, which is a great hate-watch.

New on Tubi in March 2026 — The Full List of All the Free Movies and TV Shows

’20th Century Women’ (2016)

In Santa Barbara, California, it’s 1979, and teenager Jamie (Lucas Jade Zumann) lives an unconventional life with his 50-year-old mother, Dorothea (Annette Bening). In the giant, old home, the mother and son live with two tenants: young photographer Abbie Porter (Greta Gerwig), who is currently being treated for cervical cancer, and handsome handyman William (Billy Crudup). Meanwhile, Jamie spends much of his time with his best friend Julie (Elle Fanning), a spirited and rebellious teenager. At a moment of great cultural change, Jamie comes of age in the presence of three very different, very flawed but very influential women in his life.

20th Century Women is a gorgeous, funny and deeply felt exploration of feminist identity, generational shifts and the varied complexities of womanhood. The movie offers a rare and well-earned turn from Bening, who portrays Dorothea with a sharp wit that endears as often as it bristles against us. While the editing, direction and cinematography all come together to render the film authentic and immersive, it’s the performances and screenplay that make 20th Century Women unmissable.

‘Morbius’ (2022)

Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, Morbius follows Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto), a brilliant scientist who has been suffering from a lifelong blood disease. Determined in his efforts to cure himself, he captures hundreds of vampire bats from Costa Rica in an attempt to splice their genes with his own. While Michael does indeed cure himself, he also turns himself unintentionally into a vampire who must feed on blood to survive. While working to satisfy his deadly cravings, he must ward off his adopted brother Lucien (Matt Smith), who suffers from the same disease but wants to use the powers of Michael’s cure for nefarious ends.

Let’s just get this out of the way: Morbius is a very bad film, despite the filmmakers having been tricked by a meme into believing that people actually wanted Morbius to remain in theaters longer than its initially short run. The editing is bad, the pacing is absurd, the acting is atrocious and the direction hardly exists. Such slapdash hallmarks are typical of these Sony Marvel movies, but Morbius is easily the worst. How is this selling you on watching it? It’s important to watch Morbius to see just how bad it really is. Ultimately, you’ll never be bored, and you’ll probably laugh. What do you have to lose?

‘Oldboy’ (2003)

After businessman Oh Dae-su (Choi Min-sik) is arrested for drunkenness and assault, subsequently missing his daughter’s fourth birthday, he is abducted by an unknown assailant after being bailed out by his friend. Dae-su wakes up in a cell, where he learns that he has been framed for his wife’s murder, and he remains alone in his makeshift prison for fifteen years, during which he becomes increasingly unhinged. Then, suddenly, he is released into the world, but he is still being tracked and taunted by his captor. Accompanied by a beautiful chef, Mi-do (Kang Hye-jung), Dae-su seeks to discover the reason and perpetrator behind his imprisonment.

Oldboy is infamous for its particularly shocking twist ending, but the journey to getting there is just as fun. Master of suspense and psychological thrills Park Chan-wook weaves a gripping mystery yarn that is the most artistic form of popcorn entertainment you can find. The unique action sequences (including a particularly famous hallway fight scene), no-holds-barred violence, subversive genre-bending and operatic direction allow Oldboy to persist as an iconic cult film and a staple of Korean popular cinema.

‘Her Smell’ (2018)

Self-destructive rock musician Becky Something (Elisabeth Moss) helps to bring her band, Something She, into the spotlight with her immense talent, but that rise to fame is quickly dashed by Becky’s own behavior. Her Smell is told in five separate scenes from different periods of Becky’s life, highlighting her fraught relationships with her bandmates, her family, her ex-husband and her spiral to the bottom — from which perhaps she can finally find redemption.

Alex Ross Perry’s stressful yet captivating drama is a tour-de-force showcase for Moss, who commands the challenging role with unshakeable verve and total commitment to the character. Her Smell brings the toxic rock-and-roll lifestyle away from the glitz and glamor and into the ugly reality through the sharp script written by Perry. The movie co-stars Dan Stevens, Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson.

‘Down by Law’ (1986)

In New Orleans, three disparate men converge in a jail cell: Jack (John Lurie), a dispassionate pimp, Zack (Tom Waits), a listless disc jockey and Roberto (Roberto Benigni), a goofy Italian tourist arrested for a gambling dispute turned violent. Zack and Jack have both been set up for crimes they haven’t committed, and it’s Robert who finds a way for the three of them to escape from jail. The men, constantly at odds with one another, set out to evade capture and leave the state.

5 Best Free Movies to Watch on Pluto TV (March 2026)

Famed indie director Jim Jarmusch crafts another uniquely American film about uniquely American anxieties. Funny and poetic, Down by Law is a grounded and hypnotic portrait of ennui, the idea of the American Dream and of longing for a better life but being too lazy to get there. Waits, Lurie and Benigni have incredible chemistry as three men forced to be in proximity of each other: Benigni as the impossibly cheerful Roberto, with Lurie and Waits only united by their sheer hatred of him.
