Big Brother’s Ashley Hollis shared sympathy for Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette contestants.

Ashley, 26, who won season 27 of Big Brother in 2025, took to X on Thursday, March 19, to share her thoughts on Taylor’s season 22 of The Bachelorette getting canceled amid a domestic violence dispute.

“Imagine leaving your job as one of these men on the bachelorette and your season doesn’t even get aired,” she wrote. “You don’t get any followers, can’t launch a career or nothing 😭.” Hollis’ followers agreed in the comments section.

“Dude I want them to just drop all the episodes on streaming just for the contestants,” one wrote, to which Ashley replied, “Same lol just put it on Hulu.”

Bachelor Nation Reacts to Taylor Frankie Paul’s ‘Bachelorette’ Cancellation

Another added, “Right? I kinda feel bad,” while a third commented, “Maybe they will recast the men for the next season.”

Ashley’s tweet comes after ABC made the decision to cancel Taylor’s season after a 2023 video of her throwing chairs at on-and-off boyfriend Dakota Mortensen was shared by TMZ.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson told Us Weekly on Thursday.

Taylor’s representative then claimed to TMZ that the video was “edited.”

“It’s sad to see the latest installment of his never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child,” her rep shared. “Releasing an old and selectively edited video on their son’s birthday is a reprehensible attempt to distract from his own behavior.”

The rep added, “Thankfully, the public has seen this act before and knows who he is. Sadly, many will recognize this pattern of manipulation, both in his actions on the show and from their own experiences.”

Taylor also broke her silence on the matter in a statement sent to Us on Thursday.

Taylor Frankie Paul Breaks Silence After ABC Cancels ‘The Bachelorette’

“Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” her rep told Us. “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”

The statement continued, “There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support and preparing to own and share her story.”

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 for confidential support.
