Girls Who Plotted Classmate’s Murder Caught on Camera ‘Bonding’ Over Arrests

The two teenage girls accused of trying to kill another student in order to resurrect Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza were caught on video in the back of a police patrol car smiling, laughing, and nonchalantly discussing their failed murder plot.

The chilling footage is what convinced a judge to deny bond for the girls, identified as Isabelle Valdez, who is 15, and 14-year-old Lois Lippert.

“This is such a bonding experience,” Valdez commented to Lippert, who replied, “I know, I love it!”

Us Weekly previously reported on the girls’ arrests in Altamonte Springs.

Police said that the two students at Lake Brantley High School — who’ve been charged as adults with attempted murder-related charges — allegedly planned to attack a classmate, according to court documents.

Police believe that the two students concocted an elaborate plan that included specific steps, specific items and a specific target. Valdez reportedly told investigators that she heard voices that told her killing the boy would create a “blood bond” with Lanza that would ultimately bring the killer back to life.

Lanza was behind the mass shooting that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, in 2012. After he killed 20 children — ages 6 and 7 — and six adult staff members, Lanza died by suicide at the scene of the crime.

The girls also appear to have discussed their impending mugshot photo sessions while on their way to the stationhouse.

“I was going to do my makeup this morning for the mugshot, but I couldn’t find anything,” Valdez said.

Valdez even said she was “excited,” the video shows.

“I thought I was going to get sent to the [expletive] psych ward. That’s why I was so excited about everything.”

A neighboring police department received an anonymous tip back on January 22 about a student who was planning to kill another student the following day.

After the girls were arrested, Valdez allegedly told detectives the intended victim was “perfect and reminded her of Adam Lanza.”

Investigators allege Valdez recruited Lippert to help her kill the victim by slitting the victim’s throat in the school bathroom and drinking his blood. Valdez had a knife, gloves, trash bags and wipes in her backpack at the time of her arrest.

Valdez also told Lippert while the pair were handcuffed in the back of a patrol car, “I don’t feel guilty for my actions.”

She did, however, feel bad for her mother.

“I feel bad for my mama. That’s the only person I feel bad for,” Valdez said. “And you. I feel bad for your mama, too.”

Both Valdez and Lippert have pleaded not guilty to attempted murder. Attempts to reach their attorneys for comment were unsuccessful Friday, March 13.

Following Valdez and Lippert’s arrests, Seminole County Public Schools released a statement regarding the incident.

“We are deeply grateful to the individual whose courageous tip allowed law enforcement to take swift action,” the statement said, per Click Orlando. “The situation was resolved safely thanks to the seamless collaboration between our school and law enforcement partners.”
