90 Day Fiancé’s Caroline Schwitzky’s ex-boyfriend Cole Goldberg has been found not guilty of attempted murder.
A judge rendered the verdict and acquitted Goldberg of the crime in a West Palm Beach courtroom on Thursday, March 12.
Schwitzky previously accused Goldberg of attempted murder in 2022 after the pair got into an alleged argument while at Boca Bash. The reality star claimed that Goldberg held her head underwater after she broke up with him.
Goldberg has denied the allegations. He claimed that he was attempting to save Schwitzky from being hit by a boat in the water.
90 Day Fiance’s Veronica and Fiance Seth’s Domestic Violence Charges Dismissed
Goldberg’s case was a bench trial rather than a jury trial. The decision came one day after the judge deliberated overnight. The judge ruled there was too much inconsistency from the witnesses testimony, giving enough reasonable doubt to acquit Goldberg.
“We are all relieved and grateful that this four year ordeal is over. We had every confidence in Judge Parnofiello’s ability to be fair to both sides of the aisle and to follow the law,” Goldberg’s lawyers said in a statement to TMZ following the case. “Despite being a young judge, his sense of fairness, intelligence and reputation for following the law is undisputed”
Goldberg also reacted to his legal win.
“I’m so glad the truth finally came out. I’ve been dealing with this since 2022, so it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulder,” Goldberg said in a statement to the outlet. “There’s no resentment with Caroline, I just can’t believe she would ever think I could do something like that.”
Goldberg added that he plans to return to law school in South Florida.
Schwitzky has not yet addressed the ruling.

Schwitzky is best known for being featured on the first and second season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? which premiered in 2016. She was a talent agent to Paola Mayfield.
After appearing on the TLC series, Schwitzky went on to date Goldberg for a year before their 2022 altercation. She later moved on with current husband Jonathan LeBron. Schwitzky is stepmom to LeBron’s four kids from a previous relationship. The pair welcomed their first baby, son Leo, together in January 2025.
“From holding you perfectly still… to chasing you everywhere I go. Same mom, same heart — just running a little faster now. 🤍,” she wrote via Instagram in February alongside a video of her holding her toddler. “Motherhood is the most beautiful kind of busy I’ll ever know.”
