A Brunswick man was seriously injured Wednesday morning in a crash on Interstate 95 in Waterville.
Raymond Fenderson, 41, was merging onto I-95, near mile marker 130, about 5:38 a.m. when he collided with another vehicle before crashing into a median guardrail, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The crash left Fenderson trapped, and it took rescuers 30 minutes to free him from the wreckage, Moss said.
Fenderson was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation, but impairment is considered a likely factor, according to Moss.
