Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his ex-fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, welcomed two daughters before their breakup.
“She’s definitely changed my world and I’m blessed,” Prescott said in an August 2024 interview with CBS Texas about welcoming his first baby. “Not that I didn’t really ever take any moment for granted, but I’m just thankful for the times that I get to be with her, be with the family.”
He continued, “I understand the responsibility as a father that I have, and I don’t take it lightly.”
Prescott started dating Ramos in 2023, nearly one year before they got engaged. Ramos announced in March 2026 that she and the NFL star had called off their upcoming wedding, denying speculation that she refused to sign a prenuptial agreement.

Margaret Jane ‘MJ’ Rose
Sarah Jane Ramos gave birth to her and Dak Prescott’s first daughter, Margaret Jane “MJ” Rose, in February 2024.
“I feel different, you wake up in the morning, you see that baby and understand the responsibilities,” Prescott said in a press conference the next month. “Everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, but to want that for somebody else even more. It’s special. Everybody’s healthy and at home. We’re blessed.”

Sarah Jane Ramos revealed in December 2024 that she was pregnant with baby No. 2. She gave birth in May 2025.

Dak Prescott was first linked to Sarah Jane Ramos in summer 2023, shortly after revealing in an interview that his relationship status was “pending.”
By November 2023, Prescott declared his love for Ramos via Instagram.
“Entering a new decade with so much gratitude,” Ramos wrote via Instagram, marking her 30th birthday. “Blessed and thankful for my family and friends that celebrated with me in my new home ⭐️ I truly have everything I could wish for and have a feeling this next chapter will be the best one yet.”
Prescott replied in the comments section, “So much to love in this post! Welcome to [the] 30 club, my love.”
The quarterback popped the question to Ramos in October 2024 by dressing MJ in a onesie that read, “Hi Mommy, Daddy has a question for you!” Prescott subsequently got down on bended knee with a diamond ring valued over $1 million.
Nearly three years later, news broke that Prescott and Ramos called off their engagement.
“There wasn’t any rockiness in the lead-up, and there was no big argument or blow up,” a spokesperson for Ramos told People in March 2026. “It was a mutual decision.”
Just weeks earlier, Ramos and Prescott jointly celebrated daughter MJ’s second birthday.
“Happy 2nd Birthday to our beautiful firstborn baby who is no longer a baby,” Ramos wrote via Instagram in February 2026. “I thank God everyday for you and the joy you bring to us and everyone that knows you. The brightest light in every room with the biggest personality. You are the coolest little girl and we love you more than anything, Margaret Jane!”
