To sidetrack the problem of being investigated for his role in the Epstein affair, what better solution then to start a new war? President Donald Trump, seemingly unconcerned with the deaths and destruction a war invites, apparently hopes that this distraction will ease the pressure as more evidence of his involvement is revealed.

This is the same guy who created a so-called Board of Peace in January, which among other goals hoped to “manage ceasefire options.” This new misadventure will not play well with the Nobel Prize folks.

True to form, Trump seemingly failed to consider any of the consequences of his actions. Stranding desperate Americans overseas, watching our bases in the Middle East being attacked, our embassies bombed. Who cares, if it keeps us from focusing on his sex life.

We watched as he and his entourage saw dead soldiers coming home although he was not schooled enough to remove his hat. Hats are important to him as they display his philosophy in the few words needed to do so. The young Iranian girls massacred will not be the last of the needless deaths in that country and the six Americans who have died will not the last for us.
