Fantasy fans are better served on HBO Max than science fiction fans.
There’s some overlap between the two fandoms, but HBO Max clearly favors one over the other.
That’s not to say you can’t find a great science fiction show on HBO Max. You just have to dig really deeply and dive into the occasional foreign series like The Swarm or Years and Years.
