Timing is everything, and Peacock is having a very shrewd awards season.

Oscar voting may be over, but Peacock is debuting an Academy Award-nominated film, Hamnet, before the ceremony.

It’s up for eight Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Jessie Buckley. Now, casual movie lovers can see it for themselves before the ceremony.

That’s just one of the films on Watch With Us‘ list of the three best Peacock movies to binge-watch this weekend. The rest you can find below.

What’s New on Peacock in March 2026 — The Full List of Movies and TV Shows

‘Hamnet’ (2025)

Heading into the Oscars, Hamnet seems like a long shot for Best Picture, but Jessie Buckley is a real contender for Best Actress. Her performance as Agnes Hathaway carries the film and will likely carry Buckley to even greater stardom going forward. Agnes is the lover of William Shakespeare (Paul Mescal) and, later, his wife.

As Shakespeare pursues a career in theater that will make him a legend, Agnes raises their children, Hamnet (Jacobi Jupe), Judith (Olivia Lynes) and Susanna (Bodhi Rae Breathnach). When tragedy strikes the family, not even the love between Agnes and William may be able to keep them together. From this time of turmoil, one of Shakespeare’s greatest plays is born.

Hamnet is streaming on Peacock.

‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ (2017)

It’s hard to believe that Tom Holland has been playing Spider-Man since Captain America: Civil War in 2016. Spider-Man: Homecoming was Holland’s first solo Spider-Man adventure, and he was more believable as a geeky teenager than the two actors who preceded him on the big screen. Homecoming played up the youth and inexperience of Peter Parker (Holland) as he desperately tries to win the approval of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) so he can join the Avengers.

14 Best Movies on Peacock Right Now (March 2026): ‘Song Sung Blue’ and More

Former Batman star Michael Keaton plays the film’s villain, Adrian Toomes. As the Vulture, Toomes has a grudge against Stark and a connection to Spider-Man that will chill Peter to his bones. This is largely a lighthearted movie, but there are certain scenes where Keaton brings incredible menace and tension to his interactions with Peter. There have been greater comic book movies and even better Spider-Man films than this one. But Homecoming is still very entertaining, and it’s worth re-watching ahead of the next Spider-Man movie this summer.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is streaming on Peacock.

‘Burn After Reading’ (2008)

Burn After Reading isn’t one of the very best films by Joel and Ethan Coen, but it’s still a very funny black comedy. Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand respectively, play Chad Feldheimer and Linda Litzke, a pair of gym employees and health enthusiasts who stumble upon what they believe is classified information. Chad and Linda think it’s perfect for blackmail or something they can sell to Russian spies.

In reality, what they have is the memoir of former CIA analyst, Osborne Cox (John Malkovich). He’s looking for a second act in life after his marriage to Katie Cox (Tilda Swinton) goes up in flames. Meanwhile, Katie is moving on with the new man in her life, Harry Pfarrer (George Clooney). When Harry finds himself unknowingly interfering with Chad and Linda’s attempt to cash in on their find, things get even more complicated.

Burn After Reading is streaming on Peacock.
