A man died Tuesday afternoon at a homeless encampment in Auburn.
First responders were called to the encampment, near the railroad tracks off Washington Street North, about 3:02 p.m. after a man reportedly suffered burns to his legs, according to the Auburn Police Department.
When they arrived, they found a 47-year-old man dead.
His death doesn’t appear suspicious, police said.
Police aren’t publicly identifying him pending family notification.
The death remains under investigation.
