DJ and Stephanie Tanner have been close on and off screen for several decades — but have things taken a turn in Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin’s relationship?
Cameron Bure, Sweetin and the cast of Full House — which also includes John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Andrea Barber, Lori Loughlin, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and the late Bob Saget— have made headlines for reunions since the original sitcom ended in 1995.
In addition to friendly reunions, Cameron Bure and Sweetin’s opposing political affiliations — Cameron Bure is a vocal conservative while Sweetin is a liberal — has garnered attention as well, even though the TV sisters are usually able to put aside their differences.
When Cameron Bure came under fire in November 2022 for saying she chose Great American Family over Hallmark Channel because of the network keeping “traditional marriage at the core” in its movies, things seemingly changed between the pair.
Sweetin publicly backed the LGBTQ+ community while Cameron Bure became the center of unwanted negative attention. So where do they stand now?
