Demi Moore is trying on a new look for size.

Moore, 63, stepped out at Gucci’s FW26 presentation in Milan, Italy on Friday, February 27, in a sleek leather catsuit and oversized sunglasses with her faithful pup, Pilaf, in her arms.

The pièce de résistance? The Oscar nominee traded her usually long, jet-black tresses for a shaggy bob.

“Thanks @demimoore for always trusting me with ur looks!” Moore’s hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, wrote via Instagram on Friday.

According to Giannetos, his inspiration was to pay homage to designer Demna and his debut Gucci show.

“I wanted to give Demi Moore a major transformation for the first show of Demna at Gucci,” Giannetos told Vogue of chopping 22 inches of Moore’s trademark long locks. “I wanted to highlight Demi’s beautiful personality through the hair … iconic, fabulous, edgy, but at the same time, effortless.”

Moore further praised her glam squad for helping her get ready for the Milan Fashion Week outing.

“An absolute honor to attend @Demna’s inaugural runway show for @Gucci,” she captioned Instagram photos. “A bold, beautiful new chapter begins! Thanks for letting me come out and play, and my sweet @pilaf.littlemouse too!”

While Moore is no stranger to switching her mane, she’s gotten set on a long, raven-colored ‘do since entering her 50s and 60s.

“I’ve done everything to my hair. I’ve shaved it. I’ve dyed it. I’ve had a bob,” Moore told People in 2022. When I’m not working, I try to do as little to it as possible. It’s stressful even having someone touch it. If I don’t have anywhere to go, I don’t put heat on it. I just try to let it do its own thing, and I don’t wash it too often.”

According to Moore, she only got “regular tiny trims” to keep her tresses healthy.

“I think now that I’m older, I also know, I don’t have anything to prove,” she stated to the outlet. “So if they really need my hair different [for an acting role], they can give me a wig. [It’s] also not as clear how it would grow back!”

Moore continued at the time, “I remember hearing someone say that when women get older, they shouldn’t have long hair. And something about that stuck with me. Like, who says? It made me feel, like, if it can grow and it’s not unhealthy, then why shouldn’t we? I’m not comfortable with rules that don’t seem to have any real meaning or justification.”

Moore is all about aging gracefully, which she’s tried to pass onto her three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis.

“I really try to be as present in the moment as possible, and what I feel is an excitement of possibilities, that we’re defining a new — I don’t want to say generation — but we are what the future is for women,” the actress said on the Today show in September 2024. “And I look at having my daughters, and I don’t want there to ever be in their minds that there is an end. To me, this is the most exciting time of my life. It is.”

She continued, “My children are grown. I have the most independence and autonomy to really redefine where I want to go. I don’t know what that looks like or what that is, but I’m just excited to be living in it.”
