Denise Richards will pay her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, temporary spousal support amid their ongoing divorce battle.

Richards, 55, was ordered by a judge on Wednesday, February 25, to pay Phypers, 53, $5,000 each month in temporary spousal support, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly. Richards’ payments are due on the 5th of each month, beginning Thursday, March 5, and will continue until further order of the court.

According to the docs, Richards will also cover Phypers’ $25,000 attorneys’ fees and an additional $5,000 to pay for a forensic accountant. Us has reached out to Richards for comment.

Richards and Phypers were married for six years before he filed for divorce in June 2025. Phypers filed a request for spousal support in December 2025, claiming that he was in financial debt. In a court filing exclusively obtained by Us, Phypers revealed that he was spending $15,000 on monthly rent, among other expenses totaling well over $61,000.

Denise Richards Hires Ex Charlie Sheen’s Lawyer After Aaron Demands Money

Phypers’ mother, Patricia, also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover her son’s legal defense.

“Say whatever you want about me, which they have. I’ll deal with that after the divorce,” Richards said on a January episode of the “MisSpelling” podcast. “But when you cross a line and bring my youngest daughter into trying to get money from strangers — it’s outrageous. That is wrong.”

Richards adopted daughter Eloise in 2011 before marrying Phypers. (The actress also shares daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.)

“It’s hard enough going through a divorce and the loss of that, but then to discover who this person really is, that’s what is beyond hurtful,” Richards said of Patricia claiming she took care of Eloise for weeks amid the Bravo star’s absence while traveling. “To go to this level, to bring my daughter into it, it’s more [of] a personal thing. It is shocking, but whatever. I’m not surprised.”

Amid the couple’s divorce, Richards requested a restraining order against Phypers over claims that he was abusive. Phypers vehemently denied the accusations.

Inside Denise Richards’ New Reality After Aaron Phypers Split

“Not true. Conjured up. I have the real evidence,” he told Us in a July 2025 statement. “I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise — or anyone. These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful. Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue. I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience, and respect.”

Phypers was arrested for spousal abuse in October 2025 and was released on bail days later.

“We can confirm that Aaron Phypers was, in fact, arrested near the end of the family law court day on October 17, 2025, and was later released on bail,” a rep for Phypers told Us. “We have not seen the criminal complaint, but we believe that it is most likely based upon some of the same false accusations that Denise Richards has brought against Mr. Phypers in the family law domestic violence proceeding, which she claims occurred nearly four years ago. If so, we expect that the evidence will demonstrate Mr. Phypers’ innocence and that he will be acquitted.”
