Regarding the front page article on Feb. 21, “Mills attends meeting with Trump she said she’d skip”: Can I assume that people think that she should not have met with President Donald Trump after saying she would not?
I’m happy she did. It shows that she has a firm grasp on her responsibility to represent all Maine citizens, not just those who did not vote for the sitting president.
Remember, the Second Congressional District in Maine overwhelmingly voted for Trump in the last three elections. I feel a bit less disenfranchised by her decision to meet with our president and applaud her for doing so.
