Below Deck star Ben Robinson‘s ex Kiara Cabral broke her silence after he claimed her infidelity caused the end of their engagement.
“Those of you who are watching Below Deck may have heard of me, and not in a positive light at all. Everything Ben has said about me on the show is 100 percent false,” Kiara said in a TikTok video posted on Friday, February 20. “I have never and I would never be romantically involved with any of his friends. That’s not the kind of person I am.”
Kiara offered her own version of how their relationship came to an end.
“The truth is I was the one that left the relationship — not easily, I may add — because of the way he was treating me. There was a lot of trauma I had to deal with from that relationship,” she claimed. “And honestly, I just want it to be over. It’s been over two years, and I really feel like I’ve healed.”

In the video, Kiara said she felt as if the internet was “blowing this up and demonizing” her, adding, “[It] is opening up a lot of scars that I’ve healed. This is really hard for me to talk about. It’s been over two years since the relationship ended, and I’ve healed since then. I truly hope he has as well.”
Kiara noted that she is aware that Ben’s comments were “filmed a while ago.”

“But now that it’s airing and I’m being demonized, it is really hard on me and it’s opening a lot of scars, and I really would like it just to be over,” she continued. “This is the narcissism that I’ve walked away from, and I just wanted to come on here and say that. I don’t have a platform. I’m a nobody. I know Ben has his fans, but I just really want to be in peace. Thank you.”
The caption for the video featured an apology from Kiara for “how awkward” she felt about the situation.
“Talking about my feels on camera does not come easily to me. Quite frankly making this video [gave] me an immense amount of anxiety,” she added. “Take what you want from what I have said, but I am sick feeling like I don’t have a voice when it comes to my own life, and now I would really like to just move on.”
During a February episode of the hit Bravo series, Ben got emotional about his personal life, saying, “I was meant to get married last year. And I caught her — she had been seeing one of my friends for a very long time.”
Ben admitted he was “really sensitive” at the moment. “I’m more sensitive because everyone’s just f***ing let me down, that’s why,” he added about how he lacked “faith in humanity” after the experience.

Us Weekly originally broke the news in May 2023 that Ben and Kiara were engaged after more than three years of dating. Ben confirmed in September 2024 that his wedding had been called off.
“Hey guys, I hope everyone’s had a wonderful summer. I have missed being in touch with you, but I’m finally able to share my adventures. You will understand, it’s been difficult,” he wrote via Instagram statement at the time. “I am no longer getting married.”
Ben noted that it was a mutual choice. “We have decided to go our separate ways, and I think that this is the best decision for both of us,” he added. “I would rather not discuss the reasons behind these decisions, but I feel it’s important for me to express my circumstances. With any luck my grievances will be overshadowed by the support of my loyal followers, friends and family.”
Below Deck Down Under airs on Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
