Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was not taking selfies on an airplane this week, despite what you may have seen on social media.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham went viral on Tuesday, February 17 when she posted a selfie from her seat shortly before takeoff when followers noticed that, in the moment, she bore a striking resemblance to the NFL star.
“Taking off. See you on air tmrw!” she captioned the photo, which has more than 2 million views via X.
The combination of Ingraham’s long blond hair and sunglasses obscuring part of her face did a lot of the heavy lifting, but the jokes came pouring in quickly.

“Looks like Trevor Lawrence didn’t take that playoff loss well,” one fan wrote in a quote post, referring to Jacksonville’s three-point loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card round.
“Trevor Lawrence gotta get a better skin care routine,” another chimed in.

“I appreciate (and I mean this genuinely and sincerely) all my friends who texted me this amazing Jacksonville Jaguars content today,” Florida democratic political strategist and Jaguars fan Steve Schale added.
For Lawrence, 26, he’s used to being compared to people on social media, whether it’s Fabio, WWE star Triple H or the theoretical child of Carmela and Furio from The Sopranos. This dates back to his college days at Clemson when teenager Bella Martina went viral on TikTok because people thought she looked like Lawrence.

Martina, now in her 20s, leaned into it, sporting his Clemson jersey and headband in videos. Even Lawrence himself applauded her effort.
“She does look like me,” he told The Athletic in 2019. “I’ve seen a lot of those. It’s crazy. That one girl actually does look a lot like me so it’s kind of crazy. But it’s funny.”
Lawrence even “dueted” with Martina, as the Tigers posted a video of him reacting to her TikToks to their own page.
“I see his face and I was (gasping) ‘Oh. My. Gosh.’ I couldn’t make any noise because [my teacher] was teaching so my eyes just got really wide and I literally gasped in the middle of physics. I show my friend next to me, I’m like, ‘He dueted it’ whispering and pointing to the phone,” Martina said. “The news quietly spread around the class in the span of like, two seconds.”
Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence: How I Knew My Wife Marissa Mowry Was The One
The former No. 1 pick is known for taking unusual fan interactions in stride. In January, days before the Jaguars’ playoff loss, he let a fan in a bar lift him over her shoulders and squat him. Natasha Lane, the fan at the center of the viral interaction, posted the video to her Instagram and TikTok accounts.
“When you run into Trevor Lawrence the QB for the Jags at a bar & ask to squat him,” she wrote over the video, adding in the Instagram caption, “This is what dreams are made of.”
“I was waiting for [a] friend and out walks Trevor Lawrence, and instead of asking for a picture, I asked to squat him instead,” she told News4Jax after the clip went viral. “His reaction was very shocked. He looked at me and asked if I was being serious, and I said, ‘I very much am.’”
“After I put him down he stood there for a second and [said] ‘Whoa, you’re a very strong woman.’ I said, ‘Thanks, I work out,’” she added.
