“Terrible things are happening outside. … poor, helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are being torn apart; en, women and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared.” — “Diary of Anne Frank,” January 13, 1943
Yes, this was the result of one man’s maniacal power trip, supported by like-minded minions. It resulted in the biggest loss of life in any single event in history, World War II. As many as 80 million people died, including over 400,000 Americans.
Today in Minneapolis, a city in a state that has voted for the Democratic candidate for president in the past three elections (not Donald Trump), the same things are happening in 2026. Armed, masked men from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) are picking up people off the streets simply because of their skin color or presumed ethnicity. They are trying to meet the quota of 3,000 arrests per day as set by the White House. These assaults and abductions are being carried out without judicial warrants, in clear violation of the 4th Amendment to the Constitution.
These beatings, abductions and killings must be stopped immediately. The people of Minnesota are outraged, as is the rest of the country. Are you? If so, please contact your U.S. senators today and let them know how you feel.
