Gleb Savchenko is stepping into the soap opera world, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal.
The Dancing With the Stars pro, 42, is playing Alexei alongside dancer Marcquet Hill (Davis) on the Tuesday, February 10, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. In the episode, Savchenko and Hill dance at a bridal shower for Daphne (Murielle Hilare), who is engaged to Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
“It honestly came together very naturally and in the moment,” Savchenko tells Us Weekly of choreographing a dance with Hill. “Marcquet and I built the choreography on the spot. We were feeding off the energy in the room, and everyone was fully committed, which made it easy to lean into a fun, high-energy disco vibe inspired by Saturday Night Fever. The goal was really simple: to walk in and instantly elevate the party. The reveal of the waiters turning into dancers really sealed the moment, especially because the cast didn’t see it coming.”
Savchenko may be new to acting, but he felt at home on the long-running CBS series, telling Us how “familiar it felt right away.”
Gleb Savchenko Reveals Why He’s Not Going on the ‘DWTS’ Tour
“I walked onto set and immediately saw so many familiar faces from Dancing With the Stars, which made it feel like being with extended family,” he says. “I’ve worked with some of the crew for over a decade, so the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and comfortable. It made the entire experience feel seamless and genuinely enjoyable.”

He’s also open to return — potentially for Daphne and Carter’s wedding.
“I would absolutely be open to coming back in that capacity. Working with Murielle Hilaire and Lawrence Saint-Victor was such a pleasure, and I love when storytelling and movement come together in a meaningful way on screen,” he tells Us.
Savchenko adds that he “definitely” would want to expand the character and get into the soap mix.
