Summer House star Kyle Cooke made sure to give a shout-out to estranged wife Amanda Batula at the season 10 premiere party, less than one month after the pair announced their separation.
“Through all the ups and downs, you stood by my side,” Kyle, 43, shared at the Wednesday, February 3, event after getting emotional when he first said her name. “I am forever grateful to have shared so many memories. This season is more bitter than sweet for us, but I’m confident we will both find happiness, whatever that looks like.”
He concluded by joking, “And yes, I will still help you with your taxes.”
While the premiere party was held, fans of the series watched the first episode of Summer House season 10 — and noticed the tension between Kyle and Amanda, 34. When the group began discussing Kyle’s DJ career during dinner on night 1, Amanda claimed that he “started” the gig after she shared that she wanted to create her own business.

“He got so mad about it that he decided he wanted to be a DJ to spite me,” she alleged, while Kyle added, “My wife never asks me questions and now she’s actually just not listening, it’s great.”
Amanda then went on to mock her husband, adding, “Guys, I’m so jealous it takes over my whole body. … Did you say, jealous?” Kyle replied, “No, I was just saying you weren’t listening.”
Kyle and Amanda announced their split on January 19 after four years of marriage.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the pair wrote via Instagram at the time “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”

Days later, Kyle shared that fans “will be surprised but also happy” to know that he and Amanda are “in a good spot.”
“I think people will be surprised but also happy to see that Amanda and I are in a good spot,” he told “Hollywood Raw” podcast host Adam Gyln on January 22. “Obviously, the internet’s gonna do its thing, but you know, we literally pushed send together.”
“It’s a lot to swallow when your entire relationship from the very, very beginning is on TV. So, we knew it wasn’t gonna be easy,” he added.
Despite fans speculating he and Amanda had been living separately ahead of their split, Kyle shared that they “just weren’t ready to talk about it.”

“We weren’t lying about it. We didn’t split, we didn’t separate. We were trying to figure out the best way to give our relationship another shot. And ultimately, we decided we don’t wanna give each other false hope, we don’t wanna give our friends and family false hope, we don’t wanna give fans false hope. … There’s no playbook,” he shared. “We were very much on the same page where we knew we needed to create some space. … This is not some big surprise.”
Amanda, meanwhile, told SiriusXM’s Front Row cohost Kiki Monique on January 27 that she and Kyle are “good.”
“It’s … easier to get along,” she continued. “But we’re good. We talk all the time. We’re both traveling. So I’m watching the dogs. He’s watching the dogs. We’re coparenting the dogs together. Still call him if I have questions.”
Summer House airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
