Lisa Rinna got emotional on The Traitors about how her retirement from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills affected her.
Warning: spoilers ahead for the newest episode of The Traitors.
During the Thursday, January 29, episode of the hit Peacock series, Lisa, 62, was the newest person to be banished at the roundtable. She then reflected in a confessional about her journey with reality TV after revealing to the remaining contestants that she was a Traitor the entire time.
“The end of Housewives was very difficult for me,” she said through tears. “It was just so nice to be me. I am just so grateful for the entire experience. Thank you.”

Lisa became a main cast member on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during season 5, which premiered in 2014. After eight seasons on the Bravo show, Lisa announced her exit in 2022.
“This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series,” she told Us Weekly at the time. “It has been a fun 8-year run and I am excited for what is to come!’”

A rep for the reality star, meanwhile, added their own statement. “Given that Lisa’s contract was up at the end of last season, and after taking the time to weigh her current options and business obligations, Lisa and Bravo have discussed and mutually decided that she will not be returning to RHOBH,” it stated.
Lisa’s departure came after she dealt with issues on and off screen during season 12. At the time, Lisa called out trolls for making negative comments about her and her costars’ kids.
“We are doing a TV show. We try to entertain you. Why can’t you treat it like wrestling for gods’ sakes? Love us, love to hate us, but leave the kids alone,” she wrote via her Instagram Story in August 2022. “What you’ve said and done to my own kids [is] disgusting.”

Lisa, who shares daughters Delilah Belle Hamlin and Amelia Gray Hamlin with husband Harry Hamlin, did not hold back, adding, “They didn’t sign up for this. What are [you] doing?! The kids — all of our kids — should be off limits, so stop it now. Enough is enough.”
After also putting the show on blast for how they honored her late mother, Lisa remained outspoken about all things RHOBH over the years.
“They’re always looking to save it. They’re always looking for something that will save it. I think they know it’s the Titanic,” she claimed on the “That’s a Gay Ass Podcast” in January 2025. “I’m just going to say it. We all know it’s the f****ing Titanic. That’s probably the No. 1 franchise because it’s Beverly Hills.”
Lisa ultimately walked back her comments, telling executive producer Andy Cohen one month later, “I put my foot in my mouth. That show’s gonna go on and on. … I meant to say Titanic, and I said it and I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. Let’s move on.”
The Traitors is streaming now on Peacock with new episodes dropping Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
