
A Bangor woman allegedly assaulted someone with a knife last weekend.
Sammantha Johnson, 36, has been charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, according to Katy England, a spokesperson for the Bangor Police Department.
Johnson allegedly attacked the victim just before noon Saturday at a Larkin Street home. She fled before police arrived.
The victim was taken to the hospital to get treated for several lacerations, England said Friday morning. The victim has since been released from the hospital.
Police tracked down Johnson to Second Street and arrested her about 7:46 p.m. Thursday.
She remained at the Penobscot County Jail on Friday morning, according to the jail’s website.
