Beloved influencer couple and “Pretty Funny” podcast hosts Brynne Marie and Mario Mirante have split after two years of dating.
“Hi everyone, there is no easy way for me to address this, so I’m just going to come right out and say it. Mario and I are no longer together,” Brynne, 27, said in a TikTok video on Tuesday, January 27. “This might come as a shock to many of you, but for me, this is something that has needed to happen for a very long time.”
Brynne added that she “truly [wishes] Mario nothing but health, healing and happiness for the rest of his life.”
She continued, “I know we both chose to share a lot of our lives with you guys, so I want to thank you for not only respecting my privacy through this, but Mario’s privacy as well. For our ‘Pretty Funny’ community, I love you all so much. I’m so lucky that I was able to be a part of something that meant so much to so many of you.”

Brynne concluded by sharing a message about mental health.
“If you’re struggling with mental health, please do not wait to get help. There are professionals out there who can help you,” she said. “I love you all so much, and I want to thank you for understanding. I hope you have a good week.”
Brynne rose to fame with her makeup and lip-syncing videos on her TikTok account, where she has 5.2 million followers. Meanwhile, Mario, 30, is known for his comedic commentary and reaction videos on his own TikTok account, where he has 5.9 million followers. The influencers began dating in early 2024 and have documented their relationship via social media since then. They launched their “Pretty Funny” podcast in 2025.
“Thank you all for your patience. We will be on hiatus until further notice and update as soon as we can,” they posted via the podcast’s Instagram page on Tuesday. “Thank you all so much for your continued support.”
The split came as a shock to many fans, as Brynne and Mario had publicly discussed plans to get engaged.

Brynne’s announcement about their breakup came shortly after Mario opened up about his mental health struggles on his page.
“I’ve been struggling,” he admitted in a video on Monday, January 26. “I took some time to myself, longest I’ve ever gone without posting, and I did heal, get help, talk to professionals.
Mario, who is a veteran, broke down in tears while sharing a poem he wrote about leaving the Air Force Fire Department after 10 years and struggling with PTSD and panic attacks as he adapts to his new life.
“Guys, I beg you, if you know somebody that’s serving right now, especially during these times, if you know someone who got out recently, especially during these times, reach out to them,” he said after reading the poem. “Call them. Check up on them. Say hi. Genuinely, everybody that I’ve served with, I love you. I miss you. And if you ever need anything, you can call me. I’m always here for you.”

Two weeks before his latest video, Mario shared that he would be taking a break from social media, admitting that he has felt “judged” by people viewing his videos, which have recently included political commentary.
“I don’t understand how I got to this point where I’m answering for things that nobody has any evidence to actually support,” he said in the January 13 video. “I’m really tired of just sharing my life like I always have on here and being met with being policed, with being judged, with being told that I’m something that I’m not.”
Mario continued, “I swear to God, genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, I either want to let you guys know what’s going on in the world in a funny way, I either want to distract you from it and make you guys laugh and then I just want to share my life and what I’m doing. This whole app isn’t my life. It’s not perfect, but it’s not performative. It’s not fake. It’s me.”
