Rachael Kirkconnell and Tyler Cameron are still on good terms after her split from his best friend Matt James.
Kirkconnell, 29, took to TikTok on Thursday, January 22, to share a clip of her and Cameron, 32, enjoying a ski outing together. In the video, she sat in the snow while mouthing over a popular audio, “Why do we always have to get involved? Can’t we just do normal stuff that normal people do? Like, go for brunch?” She then dramatically fell back and lay in the snow.
The camera turned to Cameron, who was ready to hit the slopes. “What the f*** is brunch?” he mouthed back.
“Send prayers y’all. Tyler is trying to kill me @Tyler Cameron,” Kirkconnell captioned the post. Her fans shared their surprised reactions at seeing the pair hanging out in the comments section.

“You got Tyler in the divorce? 😂,” one joked, while another added, “Wait a minute.” A third commented, “TEAAAAAAA.”
Kirkconnell and Cameron’s hangout comes after she split from James, 34, in January 2025.
Fans have long wondered about the status of Kirkconnell and Cameron’s friendship after James referred to it as “love-hate” in May 2022.
In July of that year, Cameron clarified what James meant. “We just have our own ways of clashing,” he told Us Weekly of his dynamic with Kirkconnell. “I don’t like listening to people sometimes. And she’s strong and she has a really good opinion on a lot of things. And sometimes I don’t want to hear it.”

Cameron added that he and Kirkconnell are “both passionate people” and have “learned from each other.”
That same month, he was again asked about James’ remark and joked to E! news, “There’s love?”
“I’m just kidding. I’m just kidding,” he said. “No, Rachael’s great. [Do] we have a love-hate relationship? I think it’s just we have two strong opinions and way we see things, and we sometimes clash. But at the end of the day, we’re all cool. You know, it is what it is.”
What Tyler Cameron Said About Rachael Kirkconnell and Matt James’ Romance
In October 2022, Kirkconnell opened up about Cameron’s statements. “He said something like, ‘We clash.’ There is nothing going on with Tyler and I,” she said during an episode of the “Ya, But Who Cares” podcast.
Kirkconnel continued, “I love him, I wish him nothing but the best. If anything, it’s like a brother-sister, hate-love kind of thing. I truly wish him nothing but the best.”
Kirkconnell and James broke up after four years of dating. At the time, he shared an Instagram post announcing their split.
“Father God, give Rachael and I strength to mend our broken hearts,” he captioned a post of them meeting on his season of The Bachelor in 2020. “Give us a peace about this decision to end our relationship that transcends worldly understanding. Shower our friends and family with kindness and love to comfort us. And remind us that our Joy comes from you, Lord 💔.”
That same month, Kirkconnell detailed an argument in Tokyo that led to their split, during which James told her they “aren’t compatible.”
“He said that at the end of the day there were just qualities about me that he worries about having in a wife,” she explained on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
