Jameela Jamil is the newest celebrity whose text messages about the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni court drama were unsealed — revealing comments calling Lively a “suicide bomber” and a “villain.”

Court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Wednesday, January 21, revealed text exchanges between Jamil, 39, and Baldoni’s publicist Jennifer Abel from August 2024, which is when the actor, 41, originally faced accusations of drama on the set of the It Ends With Us.

“I want to officially incorporate nightmare c*** and demon c*** into my vocabulary; UNBELIEVABLE; She’s doing this to herself,’” Abel wrote about Lively, 38, to which Jamil responded, “She’s a suicide bomber at this point.”

The duo also addressed allegations about Baldoni’s onset behavior. “At least borderline abusive is out there so she can’t go in with predator,” Jamil noted.

After Lively publicly shared a link to a domestic violence hotline, Jamil referred to the post as “so cold.”

“I’m thinking about having Justin share it, along with a wink emoji,” Abel quipped. Jamil, meanwhile, replied, “Ahahaha no keep him away from her; keep him silence; Keep him in Sweden.”

Abel expressed her hatred for Lively, which Jamil agreed with while accusing the actress of putting on a “bizarre villain” act. Us Weekly has reached out to Jamil for comment on the unsealed text messages.

After the texts about Lively surfaced, a source told Us, “It’s disappointing that instead of listening to women when they speak out other women call them names and discredit them in defense of a fake male feminist.”

Lively and Baldoni’s personal correspondences have become a topic of conversation amid their ongoing legal battle. Following speculation about tension between the It Ends With Us costars, Lively filed paperwork in December 2024 accusing Baldoni, who also directed the film, of sexual harassment, creating a “hostile work environment” and causing her “severe emotional distress” while working together.

In a statement provided to The New York Times, Lively said, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”

Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman called Lively’s claims “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious,” alleging in a statement to Us that Lively filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” regarding the production of It Ends With Us. (Lively served as a producer on the movie.)

Freedman went on to claim that Lively made “multiple demands and threats” throughout filming, which included “threatening to not show up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release, if her demands were not met.”

Baldoni subsequently countersued, which was later dismissed by a judge.

Baldoni and Lively are both expected to testify in trial in May. In unsealed documents from Wednesday, Lively received support from several costars — and It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover.

“I literally don’t know a single thing I’ve done that he can smear me about. Ryan says he should be writing me apology and thank you letters every day. And instead he chooses to make a monster outta me,” Lively’s text read. “But what’s my crime. I’ve only ever stayed focused on the work and given him EVERY opportunity to make it better. And he just keeps behaving like a rabid pig.”

Hoover replied that she felt “bad” for Baldoni but added, “I can guarantee you he hasn’t felt an ounce of guilt. He’s too busy playing victim while you work your ass off to make a better movie that he gets credit for.”
