A lot of the best sci-fi movies on Netflix in 2025 didn’t stick around for the new year.
Films like Terminator 2: Judgment Day and The Martian with Matt Damon are definitely going to be missed. The 5th Wave and The One will also be leaving at the end of the month.
In their place, Netflix has added a modern sci-fi classic, District 9, as well as the underrated Johnny Mnemonic.
