Adult film star Abella Danger apologized after her appearance at the 2026 College Football National Championship caused a stir on social media.
“I would give anything in the world to not have had ESPN film me, and I am so deeply sorry to anyone I offended with my attendance at the game,” Danger, 30, told TMZ Sports on Tuesday, January 20.
She added, “I wish I could be any other student supporting my team.”
Danger went viral after she was shown on the ESPN broadcast of the game between the Indiana Hoosiers and Miami Hurricanes on Monday, January 19.

In addition to being a lifelong fan of the Hurricanes, Danger is currently studying law at the University of Miami.
The quick shot of Danger during a tense moment in the game’s fourth quarter immediately drew reactions online.

“Shoutout to the guy who was watching the National Championship with his wife and said ‘Holy s*** that’s Abella Danger’ and then got absolutely torn apart for the rest of the 4th quarter before getting exiled to the couch,” one viewer joked via X.
Another person wrote, “ESPN showing a close up of Abella Danger followed by Miami scoring a TD on the next play is arguably one of the greatest moments in sports history.”

Despite a valiant effort from the underdog Hurricanes, Indiana prevailed 27-21 to win their first football national championship in school history.
After the game, Danger let her emotions out in multiple videos posted via her Instagram Story.
“I hate this! I hate this!” she screamed in one video while crying, as confetti fell and fireworks were set off to celebrate the Hoosiers’ win.
While walking out of Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, Danger composed herself and reflected on Miami making it all the way to the national championship game despite some critics questioning their spot in the bracket when it was unveiled last month.
“Even though we lost, I don’t care,” Danger said. “‘Cause that game tonight proved that no other team deserved to be in the national versus Miami. No other team. Miami deserved that. Everyone counted us out. I don’t care if we lost. Those men out there, they were the best of the best. No one deserved that spot other than Miami.”

She continued, “That was not a blowout. That was not an ass whooping. Down to the f***ing wire. I don’t care. The only reason I’m sad is for these players that worked their butt off all season. They’re still winners. I don’t care.”
Danger, who was born and raised in Miami, also posted a note via her Story on Monday saying, “I have dreamt of being a hurricane since i was 10 years old, my love for the canes is UNCONDITIONAL, I am and will always be a Hurricane and we WILL be back with a vengeance.”
She added, “Tomorrow I’m going to class with my head held so high because we made it to the natty and 99% of schools did not ❤️.”
Danger plans on graduating from the University of Miami in December 2026.
