LeAnn Rimes documented a wellness treatment that has helped clear her body of “micro-toxins” after past health struggles.
“Listening to my body and choosing what feels supportive for this season of healing, especially after a very busy year of filming and touring,” Rimes, 43, wrote in a recent Instagram post after undergoing a “plasma exchange” at Next Health in Nashville. “I demand so much from my body and it’s incredibly important to me to take the best care of it I possibly can.”
Rimes explained her experience with the treatment, which would “clear micro-toxins, such as mold and microplastics and this time, I’ve added stem cells to encourage overall repair.”
“I’ve always been passionate about health and open conversations around it, and I know when I share these experiences it often sparks a lot of curiosity and thoughtful questions. My hope is simply to inform and continue the dialogue around what healing can look like,” she continued. “I also want to say this with care [since] I’m very aware that access to treatments like this isn’t universal. I share with sensitivity and humility, not as a prescription, but as information about what’s been working for me.”
Celebrity Health Scares Through the Years
According to Next Health, the wellness ritual costs $10,000 and is meant to “remove plasma from your blood to eliminate inflammatory proteins, toxins, and cellular waste, then replace it with sterile albumin to replenish essential nutrients.” Rimes documented the results, which included being hooked up to several IVs.
Rimes has been candid over the years about health struggles such as anxiety, depression and psoriasis.
“I remember when I posted the picture of me with psoriasis all over me [in 2020], and it was such a moment of relief because I had been hiding that for so long. The same with my mental health and now with perimenopause. Every time I talk about it, I set myself — and someone else — free,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2025. “For so long, it did feel like I was hiding so much of myself. It did allow for the insecurity of thoughts I’ve had in the past about ‘I’m not pretty, I’m not good enough.’ I did learn how to love myself through all of my different incarnations.”

At the time, Rimes offered an update on her physical well-being, adding, “I feel great. My physical health has been something I’ve focused on the past few years, and preparing my body for the changes it’s going through. I feel good even though I have my hormonally challenged days. Going through perimenopause is no joke. But for the most part, I feel really good in my body.”
She continued: “Looking back at all of those different people I was, I know that next year I’ll be different from who I am now. I hope I am. I’m aware of getting the chance to love all of the aspects of myself. Some of those are harder to love, but I now have the bandwidth and capacity. I can talk to myself in a kinder way.”
Earlier that year, Rimes said her false teeth fell out while she was singing during a show. “This is the most epic example of how the show must go on,” she shared via Instagram, before recalling the moment she felt something “pop” in her mouth. “If you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front. It fell out in the middle of my song.”
