A school bus and car collided in Ellsworth on Thursday evening.
The vehicles crashed into each other on Route 1A, also known as Bangor Road, near Cove way, about 5:11 p.m., according to the Ellsworth Police Department.
The car’s driver was taken to the hospital with extensive injuries.
The bus’ driver was treated at the scene, and the four teenagers on the bus suffered minor injuries but didn’t require medical attention.
The bus serves the Ellsworth school system.
The crash remains under investigation.
