Ashley Tisdale appears to be protecting her peace in the aftermath of her “toxic” mom group expose.
“Unreal,” Tisdale, 40, captioned an Instagram Story on Tuesday, January 13. “Thank you for the best treat.”
The Disney Channel alum tagged friend Sarah Chase Hays in her selfie, which seemingly showed her in a spa. Tisdale was glowing with no makeup on and skincare products could be seen in the background.
Several other Instagram Story photos posted by the actress, including one snap of a sound bath, appeared to show that she was enjoying a self-care day amid all the drama.

Tisdale made headlines earlier this month when she wrote an essay for The Cut explaining why she left a “toxic” group of mom friends.
“I was starting to feel frozen out of the group, noticing every way that they seemed to exclude me,” Tisdale wrote, in part. “I told myself it was all in my head, and it wasn’t a big deal. And yet, I could sense a growing distance between me and the other members of the group, who seemed to not even care that I wasn’t around much.”
Tisdale didn’t name the group of moms in her essay, but it has been widely speculated that Hilary Duff and Mandy Moore, among others, were involved. Tisdale’s rep has since denied that she was referring to any A-listers in the essay.

Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, later appeared to address the drama on social media by mocking Tisdale’s The Cut article.
“A mom group tell-all through a father’s eyes,” Koma, 38, posted in an Instagram Story alongside his own version of the photo shoot. “When you’re the most self obsessed tone deaf person on earth, other moms tend to shift focus to their actual toddlers.”
Glee star Becca Tobin has since entered the chat, slamming Koma for getting involved.
“There’s no loser in this group, to me, not one, except for Hilary Duff’s husband,” Tobin, 39, said on the Tuesday, January 13, episode of the “LadyGang” podcast. “I think it is so gross when husbands jump in and get petty. Especially since Ashley did not name names.”
Breaking Down Ashley Tisdale’s Mom Group Drama: A Complete Timeline
A source told Us Weekly exclusively after Tisdale’s essay went viral that several members of the mom group were “blindsided” by the entire situation.
“From their perspective, they believed the group was supportive and coming from a good place, and they never thought there was any bad intent behind how things played out,” the insider shared. “The moms insist there was no ‘mean girl’ behavior and say they were genuinely trying to be there for one another during a really vulnerable time in all of their lives.”
The source said that members of the group feel like the “issues that could’ve been handled privately were instead made public, which made them feel unfairly portrayed.”
Singer Meghan Trainor, who has been rumored to have been a part of Tisdale’s mom group, has since denied having any role in the drama.
“Me finding out about the apparent mom group drama,” Trainor captioned a TikTok video set to her song “Still Don’t Care.”
