Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood celebrated The White Lotus — with their respective partners — at the 2026 Golden Globes after previously sparking feud rumors.
Goggins, 54, posed for photos with wife Nadia Conners at the Sunday, January 11, awards show, which took place at Los Angeles’ Beverly Hilton. Wood, 31, meanwhile, held hands with boyfriend Adam Long on the red carpet.
The White Lotus, nominated for six awards at Sunday’s show, focuses on the employees and guests at a fictional resort as they experience a slew of personal ups and downs while on vacation. The anthology series is also known for featuring a mysterious murder — or two — eventually revealed at the end of each season.
Goggins and Wood won Us over while playing a fictional couple in season 3, which aired in summer 2025. But despite their onscreen love story, speculation soon spread that the pair were at odds off screen after their costar Jason Isaacs’ hinted at tension on set between unnamed costars.

“Some people got very close, there were friendships that were made and friendships that were lost. All the things you would imagine with a group of people unanchored from their home lives on the other side of the world, in the intense pressure cooker of the working environment with eye-melting heat and insects and late nights,” he told Vulture in March 2025. “They say in the show, ‘What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand.’ But there’s an off screen White Lotus as well, with fewer deaths but just as much drama.”
The outlet offered Isaacs the chance to elaborate, which he laughed off, adding, “Absolutely not. I became very close to some people and less close to others, but we still all had that experience together and there’s a certain level of discretion required.”
While Isaacs later tried to clarify his original point, viewers noticed that Goggins and Wood were no longer following each other on social media. The rumors intensified after Goggins shut down a question during a May 2025 interview after he was asked about his friendship with Wood.
Goggins and Wood ultimately broke their silence in a joint interview.
“There is no feud. I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me,” Goggins told Variety in June 2025, where he got “choked up” about Wood. “This is Goldie Hawn. This is Meg Ryan. She can do anything, and she will. You watch what the next 20 years of her experience will be. I’ll be on an island, I think Greece. But she’s special. There is no feud. She is love and I know that I am that to her. We care about each other very deeply.”

Goggins made it clear that he and Wood “will be friends for f***ing ever.” Elsewhere in the interview, the outlet noted that Goggins began to cry while discussing his character Rick’s journey with Chelsea, played by Wood.
“My catharsis in this experience was different than other people’s, because of my history in this place. I knew what we had gone through, and I knew how close that we had gotten, and I needed to begin to process saying goodbye to Rick and Chelsea,” he recalled. “And I knew that that was going to take a while for me, so I let her know, this is what I’ve gotta do. And she was extremely supportive about that.”
Goggins admitted he “needed to just back away from everyone” after filming wrapping, adding, “I haven’t spoken to anyone. I couldn’t handle it. Judge me or don’t. I don’t give a f*** what you think. This is my process. Rick means everything to me, and Chelsea means everything to me. And so that’s what I needed to do for me to process all of this.”
Wood, meanwhile, revealed that the romantic scenes they filmed ultimately got cut.
“We designed the whole journey, even down to the fact that Chelsea gets on Rick in the first [love] scene. Then in the last episode, it was Rick picking Chelsea up. It was so, so delicate,” she detailed. “The last [sex scene] was two people who were free. It was this very long, suspended moment of these two people looking at each other. It was so powerful.”
