While Leonardo DiCaprio‘s relationship with Vittoria Ceretti was center stage in Nikki Glaser‘s Golden Globe Awards monologue, the Oscar winner’s girlfriend did not attend in person.
DiCaprio, 51, was spotted inside the Beverly Hilton on Sunday, January 11, during the star-studded ceremony without Ceretti, 27, by his side. He even acted as a good sport when Glaser, 41, admittedly took the “cheap” shot and roasted the couple’s age gap in her monologue.
“What a career you’ve had, countless iconic performances, you’ve worked with ever great director, you’ve won three Golden Globes, an Oscar,” Glaser began her monologue joke. “[And the] most important thing is you were able to accomplish all of that before your girlfriend turned 30. I mean, it’s just insane.”
She continued, “Leo, I’m sorry I made that joke, it’s cheap. I tried not to, but like we don’t know anything else about you. There’s nothing else, like, open up. I searched [and] the most in-depth interview you’ve ever given was in Teen Beat magazine in 1991. Is your favorite food still, ‘pasta and more pasta?’ Look it up, that’s real.”

DiCaprio subsequently appeared to laugh off the jokes about his relationship and pasta favorites.
DiCaprio was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy for his role in One Battle After Another alongside Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), George Clooney (Jay Kelly), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Lee Byung-Hun (No Other Choice) and Jesse Plemons (Bugonia). He ultimately lost to Chalamet, 30.
One Battle After Another, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, was also up for seven other Golden Globes including Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Original Score. DiCaprio’s costars Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Chase Infiniti and Teyana Taylor all scored acting nominations as well. Anderson, 55, and Taylor 35, both walked away with trophies in their respective categories.
In One Battle After Another, DiCaprio plays a washed-up revolutionary who must suit up one final time in an effort to save his daughter (played by Infiniti) after she is taken by his former nemesis.
“I mean, that’s my brother, that’s my family, you know?” Taylor, 35, exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month of her experience acting alongside DiCaprio. “So, it’s never hard working with family and people that you love.”

While DiCaprio and Taylor played a couple in One Battle After Another, his real-life leading lady is Ceretti. The pair have been together since 2023.
“Vittoria is all he thinks about,” a source exclusively told Us in November 2023, noting that the Oscar winner is “completely smitten” by Ceretti.
DiCaprio and the model, however, often decline to speak about their relationship publicly.
“As soon as you’re in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become ‘girlfriend of’ — or ‘boyfriend of,’ for that matter, and that can be extremely annoying,” Ceretti told Vogue France in an April 2025 cover story, making her first comments about their romance. “Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so’s girlfriend who was so-and-so’s ex.”
She continued, “It’s not nice to think that you can’t love whoever you want, because of the labels people need to stick on you.”
Ceretti further confirmed to the outlet that she first met DiCaprio when they were both in Milan, but opted against getting “into details.”
Before finding love with Ceretti, DiCaprio had a star-studded dating history of primarily younger women.
“It creates a feeling like you have a desire to just be more honest and not waste your time,” DiCaprio told Esquire in August 2025, stressing he has a youthful mindset. “I can only imagine how the next few decades are going to progress. I look at my mother, for example, and she just says exactly what she thinks and wastes no time. She spends no time trying to fake it.”
He added, “Being more upfront and risking having things fall apart or risk the disagreements or risk going your separate ways from any type of relationship in life —the personal, professional — it’s that you just don’t want to waste your time anymore. You have to just be much more upfront. It’s almost a responsibility because much more of your life is behind you than it is ahead of you.”
