The season 4 trailer for Below Deck Down Under teased Daisy Kelliher and João Franco seemingly falling in love on camera.

In Us Weekly‘s exclusive look at the hit Bravo series, Captain Jason Chambers sits down with alums Daisy, João and Ben Robinson ahead of the charter season. They are on the same page about aiming for perfection — but it doesn’t take long for love triangles, feuds and more to emerge.

Daisy, specifically, finds herself drawn to João despite not being in the market for romance.

“I don’t do boatmances,” the chief stew, who has been linked to several of her former Below Deck Sailing Yacht costars, told João. “Probably [because of] the kind of person I am attracted to. I like a dickhead.”

Daisy and João are seen sharing several kisses before someone asks her if they are “in love.” In response, Daisy admits she doesn’t know, but she seems more certain about her frustration with Ben.

“Ben is a hothead in the galley,” she says in the preview. “All this is is ego.”

The chef appears just as annoyed with Daisy. He is at odds with sous chef Alesia Harris, who cries over the tension in the kitchen. Ben then escalates his divide with Daisy, saying, “This is not her boat and she is going to learn that.”

Daisy previously spoke to Us about working with Ben after rumors swirled about their onscreen feud.

“I went into the season taking no prisoners. I knew what I wanted. I didn’t want to be taken a fool, so I very much came in with that mindset,” she teased in November 2025. “Ben challenged me and he’s not easy to work with.”

Daisy still praised her time with Ben, telling Us that they ultimately found an amicable relationship.

“I think he also respected me. So I think I really evolved as a chief stew and as a person — and it wasn’t easy. I don’t like confrontation, but I need it. I was so sure about what I wanted to achieve,” she said. “I was like, ‘I am not letting any crew member get in the way of what I’m trying to do this season.’ We clash and it’s work [drama]. Now, I was drinking with him at the bar.”

Season 4 of Below Deck Down Under, which premieres February 2, follows Jason back at the helm of the Katina alongside Ben, Daisy and João. Alesia, meanwhile, returns as sous chef alongside new crew stews Joe Caron and Jenna Woudberg, deck/stew Mike Durrant and deckhands Eddy Hounsell and Betul Yazici.

According to the official synopsis, Jason and his crew will set sail in the Caribbean’s exclusive and private hideaway Canouan.

“Only accessible by charter plane, this untouched enclave is the ultra-luxurious destination for billionaires with pristine white-sand beaches and sparkling turquoise waters,” the description reads. “This season the crew welcomes aboard some of the most demanding guests in Below Deck history, including in a franchise-first, a charter with the full cast from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”

Below Deck Down Under’s Biggest Drama Through the Years

The press release teases Ben’s return as he continues to demand “perfection” in the galley.

“When sous chef Alesia doubts her ability to meet Chef Ben’s relentless standards, she questions her future onboard and reaches her boiling point,” the release says. “For chief stew Daisy, this season is uncharted territory as she adjusts to a new captain and navigates a larger vessel. It becomes clear this season won’t be smooth sailing, though, when one of her stews must leave the boat before the first charter even begins, and her team is stretched thin.”

Tempers erupt between Daisy’s stews, which forces her to “decide whether to draw the line or allow her leadership to be questioned.” João, for his part, “has been promoted to second officer and runs a tight operation until galley drama puts him in the hot seat. As tension between Daisy and chef Ben heats up, João’s growing feelings for Daisy and loyalty to chef Ben collide, threatening to sink João and Chef Ben’s seven-year-long friendship.”

The synopsis concludes: “With veteran heads of departments clashing and chaos mounting, Capt. Jason realizes that more experience also means bigger egos, proving that even the pros can go overboard.”

Below Deck Down Under returns to Bravo Monday, February 2, at 8 p.m. ET with a super-sized premiere. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
