Actor Eric McCormack will have to pay his ex-wife, Janet Holden, a hefty cut of his Will & Grace profits and $10,000 per month in spousal support as part of their divorce settlement, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
On Monday, January 5, McCormack submitted the agreement they had hashed out, which covers spousal support and the division of their property.
Per the deal, Holden walked away with a home in Los Angeles, two condos, a 2018 Audi Q7, 2000 Jeep Cherokee, 1972 Ford pickup, 2005 Ford Escape and a trailer. In addition, she will keep several bank accounts, a cut of McCormack’s retirement plans and one-half of the profits from community property work.
The list of community property work includes Lego Masters, his podcast, “Just Jack and Will,” Murdoch Mysteries, Will & Grace, Atypical, Travelers, American Dad!, Law & Order: SVU, Dead Like Me and his various other acting credits. McCormack will keep all residuals for projects he performed in after the separation including Elsbeth. Holden will also walk away with half of their airline miles.

The deal states McCormack will keep one home in Los Angeles, two Vespas and all rights to three of his entertainment companies. The actor will pay his ex-wife $10,000 per month in spousal support at that rate until June 1, 2035, when he can modify the amount if needed.
The support was based on Holden’s estimated per-month income of $22,000 compared to McCormack’s monthly income of $93,000.
The exes own a home in Vancouver, but Holden will have the right to use it for the next five years. In addition, the deal stated Holden will keep, “All assets and investments acquired by [Holden] after the Date of Separation, and the rents, issue, profits and income from same.”
The agreement said they would both continue to support their 23-year-old son, Finn, and help pay for his expenses.
Holden filed for divorce from McCormack in November 2023 after 26 years of marriage. In her petition, she claimed irreconcilable differences were the reason for the split, and demanded spousal support. McCormack responded to the case in January 2024, and agreed the marriage was over.

The exes appeared at the Elton John AIDS Foundation 2024 Oscars viewing party in the middle of the divorce, which caused some to believe the two had reconciled. However, the two moved the divorce along in court days later.
McCormack and Holden met on the set of 1994 TV show Lonesome Dove where he was an actor in the project while she was an assistant director.

In April 2020, McCormack posted a photo of him with Holden at the Lonesome Dove wrap party.
He wrote, “This is the first shot Janet & I took at the #LonesomeDove Season 1 Wrap Party, circa Dec ’94. Just so happens this was our ‘coming out’ party. No one on the show knew we’d been dating for months.🤯.”
McCormack and Holden have not spoken out about the divorce publicly since their split.
