Former Southern Charm star Naomie Olindo isn’t the first reality star Billy Haire has dated.
Before his romance with Olindo, Haire was married to Brooks Nader. The former couple met in 2015 on a disastrous first date.
“I ate like my first bite of sushi — he already had everything ordered — and I sprinted to the bathroom, and I was projectile vomiting everywhere,” Nader recalled to Sports Illustrated in November 2022. “Because I got really sick, I had a stomach disease that I didn’t know about.”
Haire thought Nader “just didn’t like him” at first. “I did like him at the time, and I do now,” she added. “There were many dates after that — he was totally hooked after I sprinted out throwing up.”

Nader and Haire got engaged in 2018 and tied the knot the following year. News broke in May 2024 that Nader and Haire had called it quits. After the split, Nader revealed that she had signed a nondisclosure agreement (NDA), which is why she doesn’t speak publicly about her marriage often — especially on her show Love Thy Nader.
“I can [talk] about my experiences. That’s in the fine print,” she explained during an appearance on “The Viall Files” podcast in August 2025. “We both did [sign one]. It was a mutually exclusive [NDA].”
She did shed some light into their split: “I think that I was a different person when I was married to him. [He] was the first guy I ever dated and met in New York. I was 19 years old … and then I stayed with him till 27, and I’m 28 now. I feel like it did shape me, and it was a really, really hard decision to get a divorce just because you don’t love somebody. That’s why I did it.”
Haire went public with Olindo in early 2025. By the end of the year, the couple announced their engagement.

After meeting in 2015, Nader started dating Haire, who was 11 years her senior. They got married in 2019 before announcing their divorce five years later.
“It’s a part of my story. It’s a part of what shaped me,” Nader said of their marriage on “The Viall Files” podcast in August 2025. “It was a really, really hard decision to get a divorce just because you don’t love somebody. That’s why I did it.”
Nader had a rocky romance with Dancing With the Stars partner Gleb Savchenko while Haire found love with Olindo. The model’s family has still kept in touch with Haire.
During a 2025 episode of Love Thy Nader, the model’s parents, Holland Nader and Breaux Nader, revealed that they still keep in touch with Haire.
“Look, you and Billy have your own relationship, I have my own relationship,” dad Breaux told his daughter. “He’s my golfing buddy.”
Holland added, “I wished him Merry Christmas. I mean, we wish the best for him, too.”

Us Weekly exclusively confirmed in April 2025 that Olindo, who left Southern Charm for the second time in 2022, and Haire were dating. The reality star took to social media two months later to reveal that they were set up by friends, writing, “Listen to your friends, even if you don’t want to! They know you better than you think!”
In August 2025, Olindo recalled how her inner circle had to lie to get them together. “They told him I wanted to meet him and they told me he wanted to meet me,” she wrote via Instagram. “Grateful for the fib because it reallyyyy worked out. Trust your friends’ judgement!”

Conover said he has yet to meet Haire, adding, “But I was invited to the Christmas party but I was up here [in New York City].”
