Venus Williams and Andrea Preti tied the knot in a romantic wedding in Palm Beach.
The tennis star, 45, and the actor, 37, exchanged vows on Saturday, December 20, after a five-day celebration with their friends and family members.
“It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day,” Williams told Vogue in a story published on Tuesday, December 23, which shared photos from the lavish week.
The ceremony came the day after the couple had a courthouse wedding, for which Williams and Preti arrived at 6:45 a.m. so they could have the space to themselves.

“I can’t describe how beautiful, calm, sacred, exciting, and exalting it was,” Williams said. “It was just a dream.”
Williams revealed the couple actually had an unofficial wedding in Italy in September before the big shindig in Florida.
“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy,” Williams explained. “But we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork —because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.”
Williams had a bridal party at the couple’s Florida home on Tuesday, December 16, which ended up in a Beyoncé dance party.
“Everyone had to choose a song, and we did a lip-synch battle,” Williams said.
The newlyweds were first linked in July 2024, when they were spotted riding on a boat together in Nerano, Italy.
Earlier this year, Williams sparked engagement rumors when she was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand while attending a Milan Fashion Week runway show with Preti. Williams did not confirm her betrothal until July, however, following her singles match win against Peyton Stearns in Washington D.C.’s Mubadala Citi DC Open 2025.
“My fiancé is here,” she told Australian tennis star Rennae Stubbs in an interview at the time. “He really encouraged me to keep playing. There were so many times where I just wanted to coast and kind of chill.”
Although Williams opened up about “how hard it is to play tennis,” she credited Preti with keeping her motivated.
“You guys don’t know how much work goes into this, like, it’s 9 to 5 except you’re running the whole time. Lifting weights and just, like, dying, and then you repeat it the next day,” she added. “[Andrea] encouraged me to get through this, and it’s wonderful to be here.”
After noting that the match marked the first time Preti watched her play professionally, she agreed with Stubbs that her fiancé was “a good luck charm.”

In August, Preti continued to support Williams in person at the 2025 US Open, enthusiastically cheering her on from the stands.
Prior to the pair’s nuptials, Venus’ sister Serena Williams shared how she was helping with the wedding planning.
“We talk every day now because we have so much going on. Well, let me rephrase that. Venus has so much planning that she’s doing that I’m just talking to her all the time,” Serena, 43, told People in an interview published on Wednesday, September 17.

Serena then elaborated on Venus’ requests, though she declined to confirm whether they were specifically connected to her upcoming nuptials.
“‘Can you help me arrange this? Can you call?’” Serena recalled Venus asking her. “I’m the person that gets things done.”
Serena also reflected on organizing possible hairstyles for the upcoming event.
“She wanted literally 14 hairstyles — and she was like, ‘What do you think?’” she said. “So she sent me her options and within 30 minutes I had them not only done but in a PDF file what hairstyle looked best on everyone.”
