Hallmark proved once and for all in 2025 that it is not only the home for magical holiday movies — but it’s the place for feel-good rom-coms year round.

Whether its international love stories like Villa Amore and Love of the Irish or Christmas-themed tales like A Keller Christmas Vacation and We Met in December, viewers — and the Us team — couldn’t get enough of this year’s crop of movies.

Lest we not forget, Hallmark also gave Us the third and final installment of the Three Wise Men franchise, Three Wisest Men, which obviously had viewers laughing out loud.

Plus, the network branched out with the three-part Providence Falls event, transporting fans back and forth between modern-day and 1844 Ireland for a love story that knows no bounds.

Andrew Walker Confirms ‘Three Wise Men’ Cast Is Working on New ‘Adventure’

Scroll down for Us Weekly’s unofficial ranking of the best Hallmark movies of 2025 — and the standout moments that won Us over:

20. ‘Return to Office’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Return to Office
Janel Parrish. Allister Foster/Hallmark Media

After making their way back to an office hybrid schedule, deskmates only known to each other as Ms. Monday (Janel Parrish) and Mr. Tuesday (Scott Michael Foster) spark a romance by sending friendly notes back and forth. Their future outside of work, however, could be in jeopardy after they discover each other’s true identity.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: This movie is a modern take on 1988’s You’ve Got Mail, replacing AOL email exchanges between Meg Ryan’s “Shopgirl” and Tom Hanks’ “NY152” with Post-Its being traded on a shared desk for a timeless love story. — Johnni Macke

19. ‘Love of the Irish’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Love of the Irish
Shenae Grimes-Beech, Stephen Hagan. Hallmark Media

Fiona (Shenae Grimes-Beech) takes her mom (Moira Kelly) across the pond to Ireland in hopes of turning her luck around — and boy, does she get more than she bargains for. With the help of a charming single dad (Stephen Hagan), the aspiring dancer realizes finding love on the Emerald Isle could be her true lucky charm.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: The backdrop of Ireland paired with the lore of lucky charms, four leaf clovers and wishing trees make for the idyllic setting to fall in love, Hallmark style. The mother-daughter element of this film, meanwhile, is something magical all on its own and much needed in our humble opinion. — JM

18. ‘Home Turf’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Home Turf
Nikki DeLoach, Warren Christie. Natalie Cass/Hallmark Media

College president Cassidy (Nikki DeLoach) is pushed to her limits after the freshmen football team is forced to move into her on-campus residence amid dorm renovations. Although she nearly loses her mind with the college boys invading her turf, Cassidy forms a unique bond with their coach, Logan (Warren Christie), and finds herself being part of a new kind of team.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Sure, it’s highly unlikely that a college president would let football players live with her, but this rom-com makes Us wish DeLoach was our den mother, camp counselor, principal and best friend. Plus, the team spirit instantly transports Us back to college, and who wouldn’t want to relive those glory days? — JM

21 Must-Watch Movies on Hallmark Right Now (December 2025)

17. ‘Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper!’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Merry Christmas Ted Cooper
Kimberley Sustad, Robert Buckley. Allister Foster/Hallmark Media

After endless bad luck on Christmas, weatherman Ted Cooper (Robert Buckley) returns home for the holidays and reconnects with high school crush, Dr. Hope Miller (Kimberly Sustad). Yes, she’s an ER doctor now — a perfect match for an accident-prone meteorologist and an organic setup for run-ins.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Buckley’s charm! The One Tree Hill alum really shines as a character who might otherwise be deemed too cheesy (or dare I say, Hallmark-y?) if it was overdone. This movie is actually funny — and simply fun to watch. — Sarah Hearon

16. ‘The Royal We’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 The Royal We
Mallory Jansen, Charlie Carrick. Courtesy of UFO International Productions/Hallmark Media

Princess Bea (Mallory Jansen) must return home from Boston back to her native, small European country after her older sister elopes with a non-royal and forfeits her place in the line of succession. One of the duties Bea must begrudgingly take over? Marrying the prince (Charlie Carrick) of a neighboring sovereign country.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Bea wasn’t the stereotypical movie princess; she was driven, passionate and eager to serve as a mentor. If there’s one thing we want in even more Hallmark movies in the new year, it’s a strong, independent protagonist yearning to do more in the world than just wear a tiara and ballgown. — Miranda Siwak

15. ‘A Make or Break Holiday’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 A Make or Break Holiday
Hunter King, Evan Roderick. Luka Cyprian/Hallmark Media

It may be physically impossible for Hunter King to appear in anything less than a slam-dunk movie, and A Make or Break Holiday is no different. In this delightful, hilarious family-centric movie, a couple (King, Evan Roderick) decide they need a break from each other as stress and unspoken irritations reach a boiling point in their romance. However, as they work together to create a memorable Christmas for their families, they soon rediscover what they love about each other — all thanks to their meddling siblings who are determined to Parent Trap them into reconciliation. There’s hijinks, lots of laughs and plenty of heartfelt moments too, plus this movie features Finding Mr. Christmas’ season 2 winner, Craig Geoghan, in the perfectly cast role of King’s older brother. Some other fun cameos may also be in store, so keep your eyes peeled!

Crown-worthy Highlight: In addition to King’s undeniable likeability and the much-anticipated debut of Mr. Christmas 2025, A Make Or Break Holiday continues to push the envelope in storytelling for Hallmark, depicting a couple who choose to buy a home and move in together before they even get engaged! We love to see it. — Kat Pettibone

14. ‘A Grand Ole Opry Christmas’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Grand Ole Opry Christmas
Kristoffer Polaha, Nikki DeLoach. Katherine E. Bomboy/Hallmark Media

When the Grand Ole Opry invites Gentry Woods (Nikki DeLoach) to represent her late father and country icon Jett Woods (Rob Mayes) and his former Winter and Woods partner Von Winters (James Denton) at their centennial celebration during Christmastime, questions about why the duo broke up seep into her mind. Gentry is then magically transported alongside her longtime friend Mac (Kristoffer Polaha) back to 1995 — the year her father last played at the Opry before leaving country music — to get the answers she’s always wanted.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Time travel at Christmas courtesy of one of the most iconic country music venues in America gives Us all the feels. Oh, and the father-daughter reunion will make you cry, so don’t forget your tissues! — JM

13. ‘The Wish Swap’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 The Wish Swap
Emily Tennant, Jake Foy. Courtesy Muse Entertainment/Hallmark Media

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you make a wish at the exact same time as someone else, The Wish Swap is for you. When Casey (Emily Tennant) and Henry (Jake Foy) end up at the same restaurant on their shared birthday, their wishes are both granted — but mistakenly go to the opposite person. To remedy the situation, the birthday twins and total strangers must team up to help the other fulfill their true wish, while falling for each other.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Believing in magic is what Hallmark is all about, and this film raises the bar on kismet levels and wish granting. It’s basically Freaky Friday meets Sixteen Candles and we are total fans. — JM

What You’ll Find in (Almost) Every Hallmark Holiday Movie: Fake Snow, More

12. ‘Villa Amore’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Villa Amore
Kevin McGarry, Eloise Mumford. Moris Puccio/Hallmark Media

Liara (Eloise Mumford) spontaneously buys the same Italian villa where her parents met for 1 Euro, but is dismayed to discover the conditions are hardly move-in-ready. When she decides to fix up the residence, she must convince local lawyer-turned-handyman Leo (Kevin McGarry) to help her renovate the property back to its original glory.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: There’s nothing like a travel movie on Hallmark, and the Italian locale and sensibilities provide the perfect backdrop for this renovation rom-com. — MS

11. ‘Tidings for the Season’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Tidings for the Season
B.J. Britt, Tamera Mowry-Housley. Syd Wong/Hallmark Media

Cynical hard-news anchor Adam Kade (B.J. Britt) meets 10-year-old aspiring journalist Robbie (Elijah-Justus Lewis) and his single mother, Lucy (Tamera Mowry-Housley). While Robbie thinks of Adam as a hero, he’d like to see some uplifting stories on the news too – especially at Christmas! There’s something comforting about a world where positive reporting outweighs the intensity of the news cycle.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: This movie strikes a great balance between serious and playful, leaning into one of our favorite tropes — will the cynic choose love over career at Christmas?! Not to mention, Mowry-Housley and Britt’s chemistry really comes together by the end. — SH

10. ‘The More the Merrier’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 The More The Merrier
Brendan Penny, Rachel Boston. Allister Foste/Hallmark Media

Cardiologist Brian (Brendan Penny) kicks off his new job at a small-town hospital on Christmas Eve alongside ER doctor Alice (Rachel Boston). The pair bond while delivering three babies over the course of the evening and navigating the balance between celebrating Christmas and caring for their patients.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: The hospital and rural setting do a great job of connecting the various story lines, keeping you invested in the plot while also rooting for Brian and Alice to acknowledge their sweet connection. Bonus points for the tongue-in-cheek joke at the end, when Alice confesses her love after one kiss — only to reveal she’s joking, because sometimes Hallmark knows love doesn’t always happen that fast. — SH

9. ‘Haul Out the Halloween’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Haul Out the Halloween
Kimberly J. Brown, Lacey Chabert. Fred Hayes/Hallmark Media

If you’re like Us and have been clamoring for Hallmark to expand its festive content to the other best holiday of the year, then get ready to rejoice, because the network’s first-ever Halloween-specific movie is everything you could dream of and more. The third installment of the Haul Out franchise, Lacey Chabert and Wes Brown return home as newly married couple Emily and Jared, only to realize they have new Halloween-obsessed neighbors who are determined to inspire fellow Evergreen Lane residents to join in on the fun by decorating their homes for All Hallows Eve, much to Jared’s chagrin.

Crown-worthy Highlight: Ushering in an entirely new holiday opens the door for many more Halloween-focused films to come, and there was no better way to do it than casting Halloweentown stars — and real-life married couple — Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz as the new residents of Evergreen Lane. The costumes are inspired, the decor is spooktacular and it all has Us excited to see what Hallmark does with the season of scare next. — KP

8. ‘Hearts Around the Table’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Hearts Around the Table
Jake Epstein, Kathryn Davis, Mishael Morgan, Mindy Cohn, Justice James, Ashley Newbrough. Courtesy Brain Power Studio/Hallmark Media

The four-part Hearts Around the Table movie series followed four now-adult foster siblings’ journeys to find love under the tutelage of their former guardian, Angie Hartman (played by The Facts of Life star Mindy Cohn). Each iteration — Jenna’s First Love, Shari’s Second Act, Josh’s Third Serving and Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient — conquered a different Hallmark trope including second-chance romance and enemies-to-lovers.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Sure, each of the four love stories are as sugary-sweet as one would expect from Hallmark, but it’s the familial dynamics that shine through here. The found family trope, highlighting the foursome’s bond with one another and Angie, is infinitely more fulfilling and heartwarming than the respective romances. — MS

7. ‘Christmas at Catnip Cafe’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Christmas the Catnip Cafe
Paul Campbell, Erin Cahill. Hallmark Media

Don’t worry, the title had Us worried too, but Christmas at Catnip Cafe is undoubtedly one of Hallmark’s most charming 2025 holiday films. Marketing executive Olivia (Erin Cahill) finds herself at odds with veterinarian Ben (Paul Campbell) when she returns home after her aunt’s death and realizes she’s been given ownership to half of the local cat cafe. As the two work together to plan a fundraising event to help stray cats find homes during the holidays, sparks begin to fly, and Olivia has to decide whether to sell the cafe or stick around for good.

Crown-worthy Highlight: Campbell is the perfect atypical Hallmark hunk that never ceases to keep Us laughing — and swooning — with every character he portrays. It’s also refreshing to see a story about a divorced woman open to a second chance at love, and enemies to lovers is always a fun time. Plus, dozens of adorable cats — need we say more? — KP

6. ‘Mystery Island: Play for Keeps’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Mystery Island
Elizabeth Henstridge, Charlie Weber. Hallmark Media

Hallmark Mystery fans were winning at life when the network released three new Mystery Island films in 2025. Play for Keeps brings both Dr. Emilia (Elizabeth Henstridge) and detective Jason (Charlie Weber) back together to host a corporate retreat on Mystery Island with one of the guests being Emilia’s ex-fiancé. The exes’ old feelings only add to the tension of the game after a guest is found dead.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Who doesn’t love a good murder mystery? The genre gets even better when you add in ex-fiancés, new flames and an unplanned murder amid a planned game all while trapped on an island. Sounds juicy, right? — JM

5. ‘Three Wisest Men’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Three Wisest Men
Paul Campbell, Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker. Craig Minielly/Hallmark Media

Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened! That’s the motto that’s keeping Us from feeling entirely bummed out that Andrew Walker, Tyler Hynes and Paul Campbell’s Wise Men trilogy has officially come to an end. The final installment sees the three brothers being pushed in different life directions: Luke (Walker) is preparing to welcome two new babies, Taylor (Hynes) is deciding if he should move across the country with his girlfriend, Caroline (Erin Karplunk), and Stephan (Campbell) is planning his wedding to fiancée Susie (Fiona Vroom). But before their next chapters can truly begin, the trio must bring everyone together to have the best Christmas ever before their mom (Margaret Colin) sells their childhood home.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Shoutout once again to Hallmark — and cowriters Campbell and Kimberly Sustad — for including diverse human experiences in their films. The movie goes to great lengths to portray three brothers who are all living different lifestyles, including Taylor and Caroline moving in together before an engagement. (In fact, the two scoff at the idea of getting betrothed! At least for now.) Add in the hilarious improv and brotherly bonding from Walker, Hynes and Campbell, plus those suave wrapping paper suits, and you’ve got the perfect ending to a beloved franchise. — KP

4. ‘An Unexpected Valentine’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Unexpected Valentine
Robert Buckley, Lacey Chabert. Hallmark Media

Lacey Chabert might be Hallmark’s resident Queen of Christmas, but in An Unexpected Valentine she brings her charm and whimsy to a very different holiday season. In the film, Hannah (Chabert) has a chance encounter with ride share driver Finn (Robert Buckley) that results in the strangers coming together to try and return a lost engagement ring on Valentine’s Day.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: A scavenger hunt-style rom-com is something none of Us knew we needed until now. It’s just so magical and romantic without trying too hard. — JM

Where Does Hallmark’s Latest Royal Movie ‘Private Princess Christmas’ Rank?

3. ‘We Met in December’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 We Met in December
Niall Matter, Autumn Reeser.  Christos Kalohoridis/Hallmark Media

After their flights are canceled, Annie (Autumn Reeser) and Dave (Niall Matter) bond at a holiday hotel and quickly realize their connection and compatibility. Thinking they’ll exchange numbers and have plenty of time to reconnect on their flight the next day, Dave missing the plane sparks a wild goose chase as the two try to find each other.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: That elevator kiss! Despite Annie and Dave spending most of the movie apart, the flashbacks to their one night together — and especially that lip-lock — deliver some of the best chemistry of Hallmark Christmas 2025. — SH

2. ‘Providence Falls’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Providence Falls
Lachlan Quarmby, Katie Stevens. Steffan Hill/Hallmark Media

The three-part Hallmark event follows police detective Cora (Katie Stevens) as she teams up with visiting official Liam (Lachlan Quarmby) to solve a murder mystery. Of course, what Cora doesn’t know is that Liam is her long-lost love from a past life — in 1844 Ireland — who had been reincarnated to help rewrite her fate to fulfill her professional and personal destinies.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Instead of having to choose between a historical or contemporary romance, Providence Falls seamlessly dives back and forth between the two time periods — where viewers like Us get to root for Cora and Liam’s love story no matter the era. The idea of one’s love story spanning not one, but two lifetimes is something any Hallmark fan can get behind, don’t you think? — MS

1. ‘A Keller Christmas Vacation’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 A Keller Christmas Vacation
Eden Sher, Brandon Routh. Adriana Yankulova/Hallmark Media

There’s no question about it — A Keller Christmas Vacation was the No.1 Hallmark holiday film this year, hitting Us with all the right feels. Three estranged adult siblings — Cal (Brandon Routh), Dylan (Jonathan Bennett), and Emory (Eden Sher) — reluctantly agree to join their parents on a festive Danube river cruise amid all the respective life crises. Once there, the trip quickly becomes a chaotic journey of self-discovery, romance and family bonding as they uncover the real reason for the getaway: Dad’s Parkinson’s diagnosis.

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Yes, there’s plenty of swoon-worthy romance packed into this story, but A Keller Christmas Vacation’s magic really comes from the bond between the three siblings — a flawlessly cast with Routh, Bennett and Sher — whose playful jabs and earnest love for one another reads like they’ve known each other forever. It’s the perfect reminder of what really matters this time of year: showing up for the ones you love. … And to maybe take a plane, not a ship, for your next European getaway. — KP

Hallmark’s Ireland-Themed Movies to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

BONUS: ’12 Dates ‘Til Christmas’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Twelve Dates Til Christmas
Toby Sandeman, Mae Whitman. Steffan Hill/Hallmark Media

Yes, this is technically cheating because 12 Dates ‘Til Christmas is a show, not a movie, but it was impossible to leave one of Hallmark’s most charming holiday projects of 2025 off the list. Based on the novel The 12 Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss, this five-part limited series follows Kate (Mae Whitman) as she goes out on a series of blind dates after her BFF Laura (Lucy Eaton) convinces her to put herself out there more following her dad’s (Nathaniel Parker) motorcycle accident. But will one of the charming men Kate meets be her Mr. Special, or has the right person been under her nose all along?

Crown-Worthy Highlight: Set in a small English village and stacked with a cast like Whitman, Jane Seymour and Pretty Little Liars’ Julian Morris, Hallmark didn’t hold back on the budget for this series. It’s gorgeous, incredibly well-written and Whitman’s performance — plus the longer series format — allows Kate to be the kind of dynamic, complex woman you’d want to see lead a love story in the year 2025. — KP

BONUS: ‘Mistletoe Murders’

Us Weekly Definitive and Unofficial Ranking of the Best Hallmark Movies of 2025 Mistletoe Murders
Peter Mooney, Sarah Drew. Amanda Matlovich/Hallmark Media

After premiering on Hallmark+ last year, Hallmark brought season 1 of Mistletoe Murders over to the cable network much to the applause of viewers old and new. To sweeten the pot, season 2 premiered on Hallmark Channel with six new episodes this fall — all of which brought to life new mysteries to be solved.

In the series, Christmas store owner Emily Lane (Sarah Drew) puts her sleuthing skills to work by investigating local murders all while keeping her own mysterious past a secret from detective Sam Wilner (Peter Mooney). The kicker? Emily is falling in love with Sam, but her past threatens to ruin their future.

Crown-Worth Highlight: This TV show has it all — murder, mystery, romance and of course, Christmas cheer. What’s not to love? The only issue is that it has yet to be picked up for a season 3 and that does not sit well with Us! — JM
