Firefighters in Dexter battled a fire in an apartment building on Main Street Saturday morning.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire or whether anyone was injured.
Fire officials warned drivers to expect road closures for several hours and urged them to use alternate routes.
Recommended detours included traveling out Zions Hill to North Road Ripley, or using Church Street to Liberty Street and up to Ripley Road.
