Matt Rogers is sharing an update on boyfriend Fraser Olender after the Below Deck star said he was hospitalized with a heart attack.
Olender, 33, shared in a Friday, December 5, Instagram post that he suffered a heart attack due to “vape poisoning.”
“He’s doing much better,” Rogers, 35, said on the Tuesday, December 9, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
“I know a lot of people are watching that care about him. Thank you so much. He’s doing a lot better,” the “Las Culturistas” podcast host added.

Rogers then warned viewers, “Don’t vape. Don’t do it. Throw it away.”
Olender opened up about recently being hospitalized in London in an Instagram post last week. Sharing pictures from his hospitalization, he captioned the post, “A few weeks ago I was rushed to hospital due to severe chest pains and difficulties breathing. Following this, I spent a week in London hospitals seeing specialists to identify the cause and possible damage of the incident.”
“To keep it simple — I had vape poisoning, (an E-cigarette or Vaping-Associated Lung Injury (EVALI)) and I have never experienced fear or pain like it,” the Below Deck chief stew continued.
“Whatever was in my vape caused me to have a coronary artery vasospasm. Medically, that means the arteries supplying blood to my heart suddenly clamped down,” Olender explained. “That spasm reduced blood flow enough to cause an ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), better known as a heart attack — not because of a blockage, but because my heart wasn’t getting enough oxygen during the spasm.”

“I’m grateful to still be recovering now, and I’m sharing this because I never realized something like this could happen,” he went on. “If this experience can help even one person rethink vaping, it’s worth telling.”
Olender said that he’s since given up vaping and “never will” he touch a vape again.
“The pain I endured for 24 hours was inexplicable, 2 rounds of morphine didn’t touch the sides and eventually had to be given the strongest pain relief legal to administer in ER — and that only brought my pain from a 10 to a 7,” he shared.
“I could have died for the sake of something so ridiculously stupid, so please do yourselves a favor and give it up too — cold turkey,” Olender told his followers. “We do not know enough about these horrific things but I can tell you one thing; that was NOT cute, not even for the plot 👎🏼.”

“Love you all, be safe, put your health first and thank you for all of your well wishes 🫶🏼,” he concluded. “P.s. it’s been nearly 3 weeks off the vape – my skin has never been better, brighter and clearer, there MUST be a correlation. BEST skincare hack out there 👀.”
Rogers recently opened up about his surprise romance with the Bravolebrity on Tommy DiDario’s “I’ve Never Said This Before” podcast.
“I wasn’t even really trying to soft launch,” Rogers said in November about going Instagram official with Olender. “I think I was just like, ‘I’ve been planning to post these pictures.’ It just so happened that me and Fraser took what I thought was the best picture. Out of the ones I was posting, it felt like that one should be first.”
“He’s such a wonderful person,” he added. “That’s nice if people are interested and I’ll take it as a good thing. But it’s been hard to watch my [‘Las Culturistas’] podcast grow. The tone at the beginning was us being very honest about our lives. That meant I was talking about my boyfriends — whoever they were. I talk a lot about my sex life and I talk a lot about what I feel about romance.”
