There is a citywide parking ban in Bangor on Wednesday night.
Between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday there will be no parking across the city, including on streets outside downtown, according to a Facebook post by the city.
Any vehicles left on the street may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. The parking ban also applies to most downtown parking lots.
This will allow crews to remove snow and ice from the roads.
People can park between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. in the lower level of the Columbia Street Parking Deck and the lower level of the Pickering Square Parking Garage on the Kenduskeag Plaza side, as well as between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. at the rear section of the upper Abbot Square parking lot on Harlow Street.
Outside downtown, people can park between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. at Cameron Stadium on Mount Hope Avenue, Lot C at the Cross Insurance Center, the Essex Street Dog Park, Gateway Park, Hayford Park and the Union Street Recreation Center.
