3 New Netflix Movies With at Least 90 Percent on Rotten Tomatoes (December 2025)

There are a lot of new Netflix movies in December that fall just shy of the 90 percent ranking on Rotten Tomatoes.

That’s a high bar to cross, even for the No. 1 streamer in the world. Fortunately, it’s our job to help cut down on the clutter and pick out the films that have received critical acclaim.

The Watch With Us team’s picks for the three new Netflix movies with at least 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes can be found below.

It’s more than likely you’ve seen at least two of these films before. But if there was ever any crossover between the three, I’d go.

29 Must-Watch Movies on Netflix (December 2025): ‘Jay Kelly’ and More

‘Little Women’ (1994)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 92 percent

There have been multiple adaptations of Louisa May Alcott‘s Little Women, but the 1994 version by director Gillian Armstrong remains the best. The Australian director assembled a cast of then-current and future stars, including Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst, Claire Danes, Susan Sarandon and Gabriel Byrne.

Ryder leads the cast as Josephine “Jo” March, the glue that holds her sisters, Amy (Dunst), Beth (Danes) and Meg (Trini Alvarado) together while their father is off fighting the war. While her sisters dream of finding husbands who can lift them out of poverty, Jo is more focused on trying to keep the family alive and battling an illness that may claim the life of her sister. Christian Bale costars as Theodore “Laurie” Laurence, the man who thinks he’s going to win Jo’s heart. Unfortunately for him, Jo’s not looking for love in that way, and he’ll have to rethink who he really loves.

Little Women is streaming on Netflix.

‘Pulp Fiction’ (1994)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 92 percent

Quentin Tarantino has arguably made better movies than Pulp Fiction, but this film had a sizeable effect on the pop-culture landscape when it came out. This was only Tarantino’s second big-screen film, and he gleefully broke the rules of cinema while making it. Events unfold in a non-linear fashion, which seemingly lets at least one dead character maintain a presence in the film. And there are so many memorable lines that it’s hard to pick just one to define the film.

John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson make the biggest impression as hit men Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, followed closely by Uma Thurman‘s star-making turn as a crime lord’s boss, Mia Wallace. Bruce Willis does a great job as Butch Coolidge, one of the few men left in boxing who would dare to defy the man who ordered him to take a dive, Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). That was the easy part for Butch — getting out of a wild and dangerous Los Angeles alive is going to be more difficult.

Pulp Fiction is streaming on Netflix.

‘Zero Dark Thirty’ (2013)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 91 percent

Following her Oscar wins for Best Picture and Best Director for The Hurt Locker, Kathryn Bigelow directed Zero Dark Thirty, a dramatization of the years-long hunt for al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. Jessica Chastain leads the cast as Maya, a CIA intelligence operative whose sole mission in life is to find and take down bin Laden.

Although bin Laden is largely off-screen and hidden in this film, the influence of al-Qaeda is felt when an attempt is made on Maya’s life and the agents around her. From there, Maya’s detailed reports and hunches about bin Laden’s movements prove to be eerily predictive. This story has a definitive ending, even though Maya’s tale doesn’t turn out as you might expect.

Zero Dark Thirty is streaming on Netflix.
