Southern Charm alum Olivia Flowers is sharing a glimpse into what life has looked like since calling off her wedding to fiancé Alex Williams.
“Well November wasn’t the month I pictured… but it was still a special one thanks to these beautiful people,” Flowers, 33, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, December 3, alongside a series of photos from the past month or so.
She also listed a few “takeaways” from the past 30 days, which included learning that having a “support system is everything” and that “you can take a beat for yourself.”
The nuggets of wisdom also hinted at her current relationship status, reading, “You can call off a wedding without calling off a relationship,” as well as, “Returning Registry gifts builds character.”

Alongside the post was a carousel of photos and videos that included Halloween festivities, lavish dinner spreads, various sunsets, movie nights with her friends and what seemingly was an emotional group hug.
Flowers also included Williams in the carousel. In one snap, he smiled while driving a boat; a second picture showed the pair appearing to take an evening stroll, with Williams’ hand gently resting on Flowers’ neck.
Fans of the reality star quickly took to the comments section of her post to show their support over the vulnerable post.
“Congratulations on having the courage to live authentically ,” one person wrote, while another added, “Better to call it off than get divorced later- trust me. I wish I had been that brave. .” A third said, “You are amazing and so inspiring. Thank you for sharing your heart like this.”
Flowers and Williams, 35, announced in October that they were canceling their nuptials after getting engaged one year prior.
“After much thought and many heartfelt conversations, Olivia and her fiancé Alex have made the difficult decision to not move forward with their wedding,” a statement shared via Cabine Creative and Flowers’ Instagram read at the time. “This was not a decision made lightly, but one grounded in mutual respect and love for one another.”
The statement noted that calling off the wedding wasn’t something either Flowers nor Williams “originally envisioned,” but that the pair were “profoundly grateful for the love and support of their friends and family” and planned to “remain committed to each other with a renewed sense of clarity, strength and appreciation for honoring one’s heart.”
After meeting at a wedding in October 2023, Flowers revealed that Williams had officially gotten down on one knee.
“‘Engagement photos are corny.’ — Me … a week ago,” she captioned a series of Instagram pictures from the proposal in October 2024. “It was perfection. Thank you all for this unforgettable PROPOSAL… WHAT?! I love you, especially you Alexander .”
She later told Us Weekly exclusively that wedding planning was an “overwhelming” process.
“We’re just kind of staying in the engagement bliss for right now,” she confessed at the time, adding that the duo had “only barely scraped the surface” with what needed to be done.

Prior to her romance with Kroll, Flowers dated Southern Charm costar Austen Kroll. She joined the cast of the Bravo series for season 8 and the pair’s split was the focus of season 9. She did not return for season 10, hinting at thet ime that her exit wasn’t entirely her decision, but a product of wanting to keep her relationship out of the spotlight.
“I have this new relationship and I’m choosing another path,” she said during a July 2024 episode of the “Scheananigans with Scheana Shay” podcast. “But I got the call a few weeks before filming from the production company. It was just, kind of, asking the questions like, ‘You don’t really seem to be in Charleston that much.’”
