A house exploded in the town of Oakland on Thursday afternoon, according to a state official.
Lt. Aaron Turcotte with Maine State Police said there has been an initial report of one injury at the home, which is on Lakeview Drive. He said investigators with the state Fire Marshal’s Office are at the scene to try to determine the cause and the extent of injuries.
No further information was available as of late Thursday afternoon, Turcotte said.
