Collin Gosselin has doubled down on his accusations about his now-estranged relationship with his mother, Kate Gosselin.
“Late nights like this I often think about how so many people are still upset that show they watched for years portrayed a false narrative, while hiding so many dark secrets,” Collin, 21, wrote via his Instagram Story on Tuesday, November 25, seemingly referring to his family’s Jon and Kate Plus 8 docuseries. “Many people on social media have come to say some very horrible things about me.”
According to Collin, he has “one message” for the critics.
“No matter how many hurtful things you say to me, I will never stop advocating for scapegoated children and abused children. NEVER. EVER,” he wrote. “I remember when my mom would send my siblings off to school every day and then put her hands on me and drive scarring words into my head.”
Is Collin Gosselin ‘Open’ to Reconciling With Mom Kate Gosselin?
Kate, 50, and ex-husband Jon Gosselin were married from 1999 to 2009, during which they welcomed twins Mady and Cara, both 25, and sextuplets Collin, Aaden, Joel, Leah, Hannah and Alexis, all 21. After Jon and Kate’s divorce, the TLC matriarch received full custody of their children.
She ultimately had Collin institutionalized for alleged behavioral issues. Collin and Jon, 48, both denied the accusations on multiple occasions. Jon later received custody of Collin, who now seldom has contact with Kate.
In the years since their estrangement, Collin has often detailed his childhood experiences via social media. (Kate has not publicly addressed Collin’s recent social media claims. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.)

“I remember how I had to pretend like everything was fine once my siblings returned home,” Collin further claimed on Tuesday. “I also know that there is a growing epidemic of child abuse and child exploitation across the globe. I will use my voice and experiences to address that epidemic. Keep coming for me, [and] I will keep advocating.”
Collin previously claimed that he had been “forced apart” from his siblings in a social media upload.
“Born to be a team, us against the world,” he wrote via TikTok in August. “Forced to do it alone, and wonder every day what our lives could’ve looked like. Forced apart, pitted against each other. All the fame and money in the world, but what about kids being kids? I will always love them more than anything. The tears I shed behind closed doors, thinking about the memories we could’ve shared. I love you, guys.”
Days later, Kate seemingly reacted to Collin’s claims. When a TikTok user questioned her about the accusation, she succinctly replied, “He knows why,” without elaborating further.
Jon Gosselin Says Ex Kate’s ‘Cruel’ Claims About Collin ‘Justify’ Behavior
Collin, meanwhile, has remained close to his father and even recently attended Jon’s wedding to now-wife Stephanie Lebo.
“When my dad first told me he was getting married, I was very happy for him, and my first thought was that he deserves this,” Collin told Entertainment Tonight after the Sunday, November 23, nuptials. “As does everybody who finds their person, but I think with everything he’s been through, it just highlighted it even more for me that he’s really deserving of this.”
Collin and his sister Hannah were the only Gosselin siblings in attendance at Jon and Lebo’s big day.
