The Maine Track & Cross Country Coaches Association have named their all-state cross country teams, and several runners from the Bangor area have been chosen among the top high school runners across the Pine Tree State.

Girls first team selections include Hampden Academy junior Addison Elliott and Orono High School senior Clara White.

Boys first team selections include Bangor High School junior Samuel Bergmark and Hampden Academy senior Asher Valentine.

The girls second team features Hampden senior Gretchen Plant, MDI High School sophomores Kulani Granholm and Rebecca Rand, and Caribou High School freshman Emma Graves among its members.

North region runners on the boys second team include Hampden senior Gunnar Weil, Camden Hills senior Sam Tooley and Caribou freshman Pierce Gorneault.
