Anderson Cooper might be Andy Cohen’s best friend, but he’s not well-versed in the Bravo world.
“I’m putting Anderson on the spot. I’m going to see if Anderson can name Real Housewives,” Cohen, 56, said during the Thursday, November 13, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “Here are the top five Real Housewives that Anderson can name.”
Cooper, 58, took a long pause before trying to name five Housewives off the top of his head. At first, the journalist thought Cohen was going to show him photos, but the game became much harder when he was told to go in blind.
“No, darling, I just want you to name five Housewives,” Cohen replied. Cooper noted that it was a “tall order” from his friend.
How Andy Cohen Really Feels About Making His Own Headlines
Cooper started off with Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. He stayed with the RHONJ theme by naming Lauren Manzo, who is the daughter of former Bravo star Caroline Manzo.
Cooper threw his hands in the air when calling out former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna, and he knew Real Housewives of New York City alum Carole Radziwill too. (Us Weekly recently spotted Radziwill en route to BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas this weekend.)
Cooper got some help with the last one when someone whispered the name of RHONY alum Jill Zarin.
“Good, wow!” Cohen said through laughter, throwing fellow WWHL guest Patti LuPone under the bus. “Patti whispered that to you,” Cohen joked, as LuPone looked surprised.

Elsewhere in the episode, Cohen also quizzed Cooper on their now-infamous New Year’s Eve show. The duo are often quite drunk when they team up to watch the ball drop on CNN every year.
“What’s your favorite moment of cohosting New Year’s Eve with me?” Cohen asked. Cooper replied, “When I got to go home.”
Cohen followed up with a question about Cooper’s “least favorite moment” from their New Year’s Eve broadcast.
“When you rant against the Times Square coalition,” Cooper said. (Cohen has famously gotten in trouble for his rants during the New Year’s Eve broadcast.)

Cooper was seemingly referring to a conversation they had on the air in 2019 where Cohen was asked to take down his umbrella during a downpour. He later shared images of other celebs during various New Year’s Eve broadcasts who were allowed to keep their umbrellas up.
“It has been our policy that umbrellas are not permitted on the media riser so as to not interfere with media colleagues’ sightlines,” the Times Square Alliance told Page Six in a statement at the time. “There were over 100 credentialed members of the media and 15 live broadcast camera spots on the media riser this year.”
As Thursday’s WWHL episode aired, Cohen was in Las Vegas hosting the first of many live shows at BravoCon. The three-day fan festival is taking place at the Caesars Forum from Friday, November 14, through Sunday, November 16.
